Glad I saw this. My MSR Pocket Rocket has been an unbeatable light gear stove and any time I've needed more power I can make a fire. I found that I'd hit the wall with it last winter trying to use it in 10 F and now I'm looking for something that can really handle the cold. Wait ,.. just a second Bro, I've had many charcoal lighter fluid fires under my beloved Weber charcoal grills' grill . The grilling surface is very thin guaged steel. Should I expect a catastrophic failure next time I cook up some wings? Blues, Cliff My Weber charcoal grill actually has melted through and fallen apart. Much easier and faster to put the used TP in a ziplock and carry to the next trash can, imho. I think that's kind of silly. If I'm close enough to a trash can then I'm close enough to a bathroom. If I'm not close enough to a bathroom then I can bury it. If you're talking about the effect of your biodegradable poop and TP on the environment then how is adding a plastic bag making it any better? To put in bluntly, the guns for home defense thread sounded like a bunch of people who sit at home and fantasize that a Bad Guy will break in. I think someone even posted that they have guns in various places in the house as if the KGB will come busting in at any moment and the only way out is to GET TO THE CHOPPER!! So seriously. Let's say you actually wanted to keep people out of your house, what's your home defense? Let's say that you figured out that pumping your shotgun will inspire the perp to grab your kid as a shield. How do avoid THAT situation? I personally can't answer this question since I now live in Vermont and people here are too lazy to rob my house. I admit that I'm not sure which war zone a lot of people (non-active military) on this website reside in. They're people who think that time in the sport doesn't matter because they're gifted. There are a ton of them who end up broken and then there are plenty to take their place. The two incidents in this thread are examples. Click. It would be good to have a list of donkeys who thought (and even other people thought) that time under a canopy doesn't matter if you have the natural skills. I use those solar zappers for sheep fencing; it just gives a little bee-sting of a hit when you're touching the fence. What's misleading is that the juice across the terminals is still enough for a good wallop and well...I didn't have a voltmeter and was trying to figure out where the short was... That won't be accurate because you're still trying to measure according to ground-speed, which will vary. The only way is to use an accurate altimeter to measure your descent and a hand-held anemometer for your speed and calculate it with the time to descend a couple thousand feet (for better accuracy) traveling in a straight line. Answer these questions: What caused the initial failure (the first floor to fall) at the WTC? What caused the continuing collapse of the WTC? If thermate was placed at each level then how much was put there? How did it get there? What is your understanding of the construction of the WTC vs. the construction of the buildings you posted?
