Go for Ozone, it has D3O.. "All limits are self imposed." Icarus

His fault for failing the maneuver and falling into his wing, lucky that only his GoPro snagged and the wing with the lines didn't fully wrap around him.. Second - learn to get a cutaway helmet and stop blaming the camera. That is all. "All limits are self imposed." Icarus

All work pretty well.. Pick the one that looks best for you, cause there's nothing worse than hating how your gear looks "All limits are self imposed." Icarus

Loving my new Micron so far, test jumped it, fits beautifully and super snug and also super comfortable under canopy All the options except for the semi stowless bag and louie loops... V308 Safire2 129 PD Reserve 126 Vigil II "All limits are self imposed." Icarus

From what I know Safire2 has THE softest openings of all the intermediate group canopies (like Sabre2, Safire2, Pilot, Fusion etc..). "All limits are self imposed." Icarus

I wish there was one specific way to learn sitfly
Rigless replied to Cinders's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Technically you can't keep everything at 90 degrees perfectly. If you notice anyone sitflying you can see how their arms and feet and the whole body is constantly moving and is never "stationary" perfect in 90 degrees.. Just like with everything else, you won't get it until it clicks and all the advice in the world can be useless, depending on the person.. just try and wait for it to click.. why disconnect the RSL prior to main cutaway in a side-by-side?
Rigless replied to mixedup's topic in Safety and Training
I'm not saying UPT is dodgy at all, they release service bulletins after all.. It's just a bit annoying to find these things out once you have a custom rig.. -

Trying to, but you can't always know such hidden stealth issues, specially if you're not somekind of a rigger, but just a fun weekend jumper.. When it comes to custom gear, yes I want a freakin guarantee so I wouldn't have to go around lookin for whatever stealth problems the gear has so I wouldn't have to deal with them when it's too late... Rigless replied to mixedup's topic in Safety and Training
Screw dying in a collision, swooping or even forgetting your rig... Nothing comes close to having a dodgy manufactured gear and these "stealth" problems that the average joe doesn't know about, which can kill so freakin easily.. Gear fear is the worst shit How are we supposed to know all these nuances? I recently got a custom Micron and already I have to deal with the stitching errors and on another post I found that the RSL lanyard velcro can damage the reserve risers if not modded somehow.. fucking hell honestly.. Is anyone jumping a deployable speedflier canopy?

It's funny how people tend to get lost in those "politics" too much. Why does it matter so much who "invented" it or whatever the "discipline" / jump type is called.. It seems the one's that are shouting with dissatisfaction are mostly Americans too (ego problems?). Screw the politics, you people forget too often how to simply enjoy stuff

I gotta handed it to Nzaerosport.com and L&B

In general it's a pain in the arse for your average person to hook up with a new gear.. Prices, manufacturing time, communication, import / export / tax issues... Probably easier to buy a plane "All limits are self imposed." Icarus -
In ~150 jumps (general skydiving), yeh I know, not much, I've never used an audible or digital altimeter (I don't swoop btw, at least not the "real" swooping) and I never really felt a big need for them.. I've always trusted my eyes and "the feel" first, though I can see the need for them in swooping. Though the electronics are a nice help most of the time, but do not put 100% trust in them

just another f'n SKYDIVING video :-)

Good flying, but still, what's up with the underwater effect "All limits are self imposed." Icarus -
The point will eventually get lost in some canopy nazi flamefest anyway.. "All limits are self imposed." Icarus

What I meant by hardcore was that people will progress at much much higher rates than they used to 20-30 years ago and it's only natural, however some of the old timers are having a hard time grasping that.. Yes there will be fatalities, there has always been and always will be and all these "restrictions" or new "rules" ain't going to make this whole deal any better
-
Welcome to the new age of media and wanting to be the coolest cat on the block.. Things are just going to get more and more hardcore as the time goes, you cannot change human nature, get over it
