We also need to somehow isolate gramps jumpers like popsjumper, make special DZ's for them, kinda like retirement homes where they put all the unwanted old people, so they could play bingo and cry to each other how the new generation doesn't listen and respect them "All limits are self imposed." Because this is unrealistic. Think about the differences in weight between people and the differences in their skills.. Oh and SIM, that's US, US is not the world, so get over it.. It's very doable if you do it right, you can jump stuff not according to the rules if you don't go about it doing absolutely chaotically.. I completely agree with this.. You don't become ace over night, but it doesn't mean that nowadays you can't cut SOME corners.. Just cut them properly and cautiously "All limits are self imposed." Icarus

Seems to me like you guys suck at CP... hard.. Where I jump, there's no crap like that and there's plenty of people who do stuff not according to the american rules.. "All limits are self imposed." Icarus

So it means we DO have to jump large parachutes, because no matter what we will do a mistake and it will hurt, so we must never jump smaller ones.. What about those who accept the fact that they will do a mistake and it might hurt yet we still want the fun that a smaller canopy provides?

I was speaking more so in a general way, describing the general populus attitude here.. Yes, don't be stupid and pound into the ground by doing obvious mistakes.. More rules won't fix that, proper education and motivation will. "All limits are self imposed." Icarus

Safety and skydiving, this always makes me laugh hard inside When will people realize that if you truly want to be safe you should go bowling and even then you can have traumas P.S. I don't have anything against people who chose to do one over the other, it's your free choice, but again I'm not cool with the nazi rule enforcers
