I don't understand why the rankings don't separate events and personal attempts. I could be wrong...but I think the Rebel is the name of the Apache XRW which can be modified for use in skydiving but with the harness mostly inside the suit. The X3 has similar lines\technology and comes from the same breed as the Apache and Apache XRW\Rebel BUT it has the harness on the outside like the X and X2. Yes, Summerfest will have qualifying big ways. The important part here is the dates for this are the first weekend....after that the aircraft go to a different big way group. Wingsuiting is like a canopy progression and who knows which part of the discipline you will enjoy. Also like canopy where there is swoop, S&A, CRW, etc... It looks like way back in 2010 the advice was to try suits. Borrow, beg, rent, demo....but don't buy a suit until you have tried a few. Or...if you want just buy one...your choice.
