    Every skydiver that exits has the potential to hit the tail. I agree that people should be educated but it isn't restricted to wingsuiters. It's like having wingsuiters focus on leg straps...so much that they forget their chest strap.     There was a fatality in Moab in around 2007. A guy with around 120 jumps flew his wingsuit into the ground with no obvious pull.     This dropzone really made me smile. Friendly and supportive staff and jumpers...Manifest, DZO, Pilot Joe...Tandem Instructors...Packers...Fun jumpers...everyone was really awesome! Can't wait to get back there. Lot's of fun and learning occurred...and after breaking through a lot of obstacles these guys pounded out an exciting 6 way.     My S is my "working suit"....it can fly a slot, set a base, video above then below and then back above....and it even placed above some X's and V*'s in the world distance competition.     I have been doing this "Direct Control" a few times on a BASE canopy I have been jumping freepacked in a skydive container.     I watched a random movie last night and was blown away by a first person perspective flying scene in it. It was just like wingsuiting through puffies! I tried to find a youtube of the scene but it is copyrighted. I recommend watching the movie just for that scene...it gave me awesome flashbacks! I did some research and found they did a cool promo using flying RC guys. They fly with straight legs but I thought the spacing was weak.     Next weekend, June 22-24 we will be at Sky's the Limit for both FFC and experienced WS organizing. There will be a coach dedicated to students. For the experienced group we will be attempting a state record. This will be a chance for pilots interested in the big way to attend a feeder event to Summerfest.     I think Wingsuiting is a lot more like CRW than it is similar to AFF, Tandem or swooping. In CRW you have to understand and respect equipment, aircraft, exits and airspace to name a few.     Had quite a few wingsuit rental requests this morning since Gary made his landing! Awesome for the sport! They just need to learn to skydive first. It's like the Point Break effect I think.     As you wish. What I think is uber cool about the helmet is all the sizes have the same outer main shell and a range of universal mounts. If anyone out there is coming to Carolinafest let me know because I would like someone to review the setup.     Right, I don't think the worldwide rankings should include non-event entries...they should be filtered out into a different list. It's just not apples to apples is all I am saying. It's a great personal accomplishment and it's fair to share...just on a different ranking list I think. Yes....this is mostly because I would be higher up on the list if that were the case but also I would expect if I suddenly appeared at the top with a huge distance it would be suspicious no? Events are hard work to be at...you have to put aside time and money and you don't always get your best performance but it counts a lot more than someone who gets a good run in their own back yard on any given saturday.
