What color veil should I order on the internet? Bah ha ha..they'd still get my license plate. Understandable, I wouldn't want my constituitional rights compromised. But, in the U.S., from my upbringing, you must have a valid photo id when obtaining a driver's license. What my understanding of valid photo id is a picture of your face. Security is a concern, and I agree with that for protection. Not that I believe everything the law enforcement has decided to "protect" us from, but some I agree with. Specifically felony crimes. So I feel facial photo ids are legitimate with driver's licenses.

Cool....Da Kine Rags is the official sponsor of MSU? That hits home. I don't have an opinion on a national collegiate skydiving association nor do I know what the impact would be, pros/cons, but am I curious and you might know, an estimate as to how many colleges/universities have skydiving clubs?

Letting it heal first before posting a pic. But I'm so geeked. I've heard of someone getting a zipper before ( zips/unzips to create a pocket on the body), but if I remember correctly it got infected and had to be removed. Has anyone successfully had this done and still to this day has it?

Agree with checking gear multiple times completely. I am religious about checking my own gear three times. I was still renting gear and it was very loose on a little person to begin with, which I had a fear of falling out of...made me more cautious than ever. Now that I have custom fit gear, I still value and respect the sport as always. I still check my gear multiple times before jumping. Never want to fall out of my gear while enjoying the sport I love!

Extreme sports coverage can be a benefit to skydiving (and for example, more students at the dz due to latest Mountain Dew commercial). Some of us actually live the life. What's wrong with "extreme" sports? Nada. Responsibility has nothing to do with what a person enjoys with play. Wanted to post because it helps ease the frustration to make fun of this mousy, judgmental person. (edited the url)

Wow, this thread has taken a serious turn. Personally, I wasn't talking about the wild fires and everything else mentioned. I was talking about jumpable weather specifically. In regards to the current events, I can see what I posted sounding like I don't give a damn. I can assure you though, I do care. My post was in light of a skydiver's desire to be in the air when weather is not permitting that jump. Hence, the 'I joke I play' sing song feel to it. Thanks for the informative post. I will dance my ass off for rain to save the acres of land that are left. (that was a sincere statement, really, and not a joke)

That sucks! No skydiving in Korea?! 20-26 mph gusting winds, cloudy, no rain here. The usual's 10-25 mph winds and partly sunny blue skies white puffies. I must be doing my part as being part Cherokee. My ass has been sitting for most of the day and no rain here. Here's to "rain rain go away, come again...no wait...don't come back m@#"&^$*@#^!!!!" for Florida.
