EXACTLY. Tell them where the buck stops and walk out. Do not accept life on "their" terms. "Buttons aren't toys." - Trillian Ken

A Standard Pro-Pack will do. Try to avoid aquainting yourself with the calculated, pre-planned error in judgement. I can tell you from experience they hurt. If it looks low, opt for the safest landing you can take (wing level over head).

Awesome bargining position. They need to wake up. I would tell them the date you are moving out. Living alone is far better than having roommates.

If you were an asshole you would demand your "rent" be pro-rated to the square footage of living space they're letting you live in. I would move out. Your 'friends' are assholes. If they have money for "lifestyle" upgrades, they have enough to cover your portion of 'rent'. Move on. Why do they need 2 months notice?

Thoughts on using a weighbelt before purchasing a smaller canopy?
Samurai136 replied to osd's topic in Gear and Rigging
Unfortunately, wingloading- canopy size and performance do not scale. Also the increase in wingloading you are achieving with an extra 20lbs is not that significant of a change. If your numbers are correct, you will aways be jumping a larger canopy than others for at least the next 500 jumps. A 190 is not an unreasonable size/ wingloading for your experince level. I wouldn't recommend going to a size smaller than 190 for at least 200-300 jumps. -
Instinct and conditioning. Infants have several instinctive behaviors when they are on their belly or if they are born into water; Arching (lift up head), kicking/ swimming. Adults have 18-30+ years of conditioning inhibiting them from arching. "Buttons aren't toys." - Trillian Ken

V for Vendetta's - Eggy in a Basket! Butter bread slices on both sides. Cut an approximately 2 inch circle in the middle of each slice, using a cookie cutter or small glass. Place buttered bread slices on a nonstick griddle pan, preheated over medium heat. Add a bit of butter to the center of the bread, and gently crack your eggs into the whole. Sprinkle eggs with salt and freshly ground pepper to taste. When the eggs begin to set around the edge of the hole, flip. Finish cooking eggs as you prefer (over easy or over medium). The buttered bread "centers" can be grilled or toasted as well to sop up the extra yolk! Personally, I like my eggy sunny side up so I toast one side, flip, and add the egg. yummie!

Egg in the basket? That's my guess.

I assume that "the end of October" is 12yrs+3mos not 12yrs. In which case the Cypres is technically at the end of it's 12 year life cycle. I ask the customer if they have a new AAD they would like installed? The old cypres will be removed.

Sorry, Kim. I was responding to the original poster. Maybe you could ask one of your friends from work if they have any numbers on this issue. Maybe Rags has some thoughts on double wrapping locking stows? "Buttons aren't toys." - Trillian Ken
