  1. Quote " Follow me here, I'm thinking that if I make an even trade with an individual, let's say I trade a '73 River Queen houseboat for a '88 Harley Heritage Softail, and the value of each is $6999, no "income " was produced therefore there is no income tax liability incurred." Quite the appropriate question for this week
  2. Rip, rip, rip(goes the poster), says the Racer fan(jumper) who was there. Seems to me there was a general dressing-down in the bomb shelter later if I remember correctly. lisa lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9

  8. That could also be a valid argument FOR the name change. Sure. If you consider being someone's spouse more important than being yourself. I consider my being someone's spouse is more important than considering myself as someone's child, which in my mind is the reason to change the last name when getting married. It signifies a fundamental relationship change. If a person gets married, I should hope that the spouse is more important than the parent(s). Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but then again I've been married more than half my life, and my husband is twice the man my father was. lisa lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9

  11. Southern Maryland's Micro-Brewery: Ruddy Duck's Festbeer. 5.2 ABV Although, had I known it was NBD, I would have had a glass of their Imperial IPA. 10.5 ABV Pretty darn-tasty, but it requires a snifter. lisa Where's the beer icon? lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9

  24. Mike, I've got one of those 24-way patches, still mint condition. I never got around to putting it on my jumpsuit. I bet there aren't too many of them. lisa p.s. check your logbook for a jump we did on 4-12-81 at Elsinore. It was a 30-way. We ended up in each other's slots. It was built by 5 grand. Not too bad for the time? lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
