I use stargate.com

short answer....... Do It !! It's well worth the effort. I have attended one and highly recommend it! This year I'll probably go to one of the NSL tunnel camps though.

pull up cord.... insert closing pin. I have a Mirage. I use the manufacturer's recommendations., plus the flaps are numbered.

After looking at the picture again, the ad for the "Hot Bod" Bev Suit came to mind! ". . .we custom fit figures beyond the average! We take into consideration each individual's unique shape, and promise you a fit that's both comfortable and flattering. We worship every curve. . " ROFLMAO . .

I haven't with my current rig but I will for my next repack!! Thanks for the reminder! As mentioned by others, it's good practice -and- it also gives you some reassurance that it at least was reclosed and resealed.... not pencil packed.

Do plan on the road trip to Illinois . . . WFFC 2003 - Rantoul, IL Also stop by Chicagoland Skydiving, Skydive Chicago and/or Skydive Illinois!

The pictures are from "The Best Boogie Contines..." video. - Quincy '99. The whole sequence is shown. The jumper in question tracks towards the cameraman and dumps while tracking under him. The cameraman does a frontloop, I guess, and gets the shot as he's doing it. It still seemed pretty close however!

The torn canopy photo is from the 1999 Quincy video by Steve "Zabo" Reynold.

fold it in half. . . The women will appreciate it!

Thanks for the Christmas present!! Merry Christmas to you, Andy and all DZ.commers!! I didn't get to talk to either of you much at Gary's party. If you make it to Beth's on the 18th I'll try to correct that. Hope the new year brings you peace, prosperity and great skydives. I have to agree with Dave that "...it is difficult to give you tunnel drills in written form without showing them to you.." but for a quick outline you could take a look at the Airspeed tunnel camp curriculum

After re-reading the replies I now understand that you all are talking about BOC deployment. My personal experience with DRCP's were on chest mounted, right hand pull ripcords. I learned via the S/L method and yes, I used to look! The JM was looking for ripcord awareness, not stability... by the time you got the ripcord the canopy was already getting line stretch and stability was a moot point. Better to pull unstable than not pull at all. (but one will learn to make these moves without going unstable) My current rig has the pilot chute ROL. I don't always look when I pull but I do have that option. yea, ..right Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Val, I HAVE been trying not to miss you but "it's" becoming increasingly hard! Until I can see it in person, post a picture of your new rig. Have fun and don't get too wasted at a company function.

arch, LOOK, reach and pull. have the leg straps failed on you yet?? If needed, I can give you a more detailed explanation after you've pondered my responses a bit.

There were 2 snakes slithering down the middle of the road when one snake says to the other "Are we poisonous or non-poisonous?" The other snake says "Poisonous, why?" The other snake says, "Shoot! I just bit my tongue".

That's funny!
