It make assumptions that at one time those of the jicarilla/mimbres/chiricahua were considered terrorists compared to today's standard. Quite insulting. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln

No worries. When I see my fellow brethren completing a dangerous evolution safely, I get warm feelings and hope I warrant the same. those pirates tend to get cocky and shoot at us every now and then. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln

Well, keeping the sea lanes free from piracy is one of the Navy's oldest and traditional missions. . .the north koreans on that merchant after all are human beings. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln

So you're in favor of the American military interceding unilaterally in the affairs of foreign nations when their interests are attacked by violent extremists? Personally, I like violent opportunists better as a description. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln

I must, I must, I must increase my bust! By the way, it's a sham! I'll have you know I only read that little gem because I thought there was more Fudgie in there. I didn't read Tiger Eyes or Deenie either(I wonder if a Milwaukee Brace would have helped me). _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln

What?? We have libraries in every city around here. Speaking of libraries...remember the little cards that were in every book with the due date punched on the card? The memories!!

You can have all those nuances of yesteryear. I love my indoor plumbing and increased cancer survivability. when I wipe my ass without the problematic winds drafting my backside, I thank the twenty-somethings that made my life a lot better with the Internet that, ironically, is the medium that carries this message to all readers. Too bad it's in electronic form; I ran out of toilet paper and I need that last coffee filter for tomorrow. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln

Congratulations!!! Much respect and happiness for you.

Also, another angle is, it's a guaranteed revenue as addicts are going to continue using regardless the tax. It's the safest area to tax. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln

So I am on week one with my new bundle of joy. . . Picture this: It was a beautiful moment. I just got in bed with my wife. There we were; the three of us. Little Katie asleep in her bassinet co-sleeper firmly anchored to the left of the bed. My wife, closest to the bassinet. And me, just getting in and settling down to such serene beauty of the moment. Wife, Husband, little baby. New family. I give a sigh of content, roll over and. . . From out of nowhere, a disturbance in the calm. For lack of ability to type what I actually heard, try imagining. . .oh what the hell. . .a Two-otter setting into Beta trying to strangle a stork in the middle of swallowing a frog. Needless to say there was silence between me and my wife as we both tried to figure out what the hell that was. That definitely wasn't a noise created by nature. Then suddenly, we both busted out laughing. My wife laughing harder because it was my turn to change our baby's diaper. Once again, my daughter has displayed her talent of making unique noises during bowel movements. New parents, or other parents with good memory, did your newborn ever create sounds that can be best described as "industrial machinery"? _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln

Well, I can do nothing but hope my child will learn my "put a friendly hand forward" philosophy. I could only hope that she won't take the easy route towards respect. ***If your kid was the victim, I fear for the consequences of the lukewarm response you purport you'll give to them reporting being assaulted. You'd potentially be raising the next Eric Harris or Dylan Kliebold.Quote My response would have to be "lukewarm". I would have to foster (enable?) an anti-social atmosphere for my kid. I would have to notice her not having different friends show up at my home or her not staying overnight at some girlfriends' houses. I would also have to miss a lot of red flags that would point out that I have a creepy child like the two Columbine kids you have mentioned. I would have to not ask questions. I'm not trying to lighten the severity of that article. I am addressing bullies in general. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln

Do you have children? What would you do if your child was on either end of this parasitic relationship? Yes I do. She is going to learn that suspension from school is not a permanent or debilitating action. What's going to happen? This is going on her "permanent record"? _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln

That girl just asked to be raped with that mini skirt on... yeah.... Err. . . Ummm. . .What? The article talked about a broken arm. Rape and bullying are two completely different worlds altogether. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln

No one deserves to be killed at that age. They're not adults. Blame the parents if you want. It takes at least two people to create a bully environment; the bully and the enabler. The posted example is a bit extreme, but bullyism is a fact of life everyone has to deal with sooner or later. Extremism usually requires police, but mostly, you have to face up to them or you will be a wus for the rest of your life. Lot of lifetime crossroads occur during childhood; this is one of them. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln

Screen doors make that sound too. Kicked over toys. Stuff falling off shelves. You would be surprised how many aren't afraid of that sound. I sure woudn't want to tip off to someone crazy enough to rob an occupied house that I just now chambered a round. He might shoot me. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
