Welcome back!! Bet you were glad to see this landmark on your way out. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
  2. I noticed that too. I couldn't come up with a reason why its like that other than trying to attack what the other likes. Kind of like a failed relationship. Maybe its this simple and I'm looking too deep into it. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
  3. Maybe the correlation is not idealistic. It's probabably a functonal aspect that isn't in any way political. Someone who likes using dangerous weapons may have a dicipline and application that is not required for MJ users. And maybe MJ users do not need the extra rigidity required if they don't go hunting. Maybe subconsciously, it annoys both parties. It's weak, but I don't got a better example. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
  4. I have. Hell, most people who have posted this thread I would consider reasonable that thoughtful. but, I believe that they have no tools for a reasonable and thoughtful conclusion in this area. I get misused old quotes talking about the American Revolution and Scientific Endeavor, popular sound bytes, and opinion editorials as a basis of a belief that is the minority. There's underdog belief due to it being revolutionary; and then there's beliefs that are underdog for very good reasons. Not all revolutionary and underdog thoughts are good ideas. I would feel a lot better if there were more law enforcement and social welfare experience. I'll take that risk. After all, I am already clueless to those who disagree with me in the first place. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln

  7. I vote we keep drugs off the streets. . .like the majority of the people. sounds like liberty to me. This is my line. . .not yours. You are on the wrong side of this quote. Legalization is the temporary safety. Some of you are even willing to write off a "small percentage" of people caught up in this. Very caring. Sounds like a bunch of oblivious college freshmen experiencing their first radical professor. I've given up a considerable amount of safety to grant liberty to those who practice it with pseudo-intellectual and ingnorant thought processes brought by inexperience, reading silly articles in magazines and don't know the line between hare-brained theory and real-world practices. There's going to be less inspiration with all that crap on the streets. This is what I don't want to go away. Liberty is a theory to you. You know nothig else. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln

  9. This is called a blow off. The FBI is ignoring them. In the U. S., when someone is handed a turd and want to be polite, they send letters telling them that "they will be looking into it". If you have a hot tip, the FBI will show up to your door and do a series of interviews. The press will find out and there will be a big thing on the banner that floats under the stock prices on CNN. Do these guys have any videos of interviews? _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
  10. I can't help you dude. You are not grasping anything because you are paying attention to words written, not the meaning. About the argument about smoking and drinking: Don't apply for any social programs. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
  11. That's fair. But changing a law in Washington doesn't have the same dangers as fighting this problem. I'm not saying that one form of defending your belief is better than the other, I believe that the motivation behind a lot of the legalization is insincere and comes largely from these two groups of people: one group just want their drugs, the other are people who will avoid physical confrontations at any costs. They would rather have this crap on the streets than face it. I do not like to fight. I hate it. But, it is not something that should be considered a reason to not to face an issue. And the most common answer I get from people I have talked to about legalizing is the violence. They would rather have this crap everywhere eating away their community. The police, DEA and U. S Customs didn't start the violence. The criminals took an intentional response to the embargo did. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
  12. They may not "give a fuck" but they tend to look over their shoulder. And of course they would have little concern with moderate public use. It's very reasonable that drugs will be way more available for them to use. Teens smoke and drink all the time. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
  13. Nope, I'm arguing responsibity andlegality can be curbing. I don't know about you, but to me this small cross section is pretty huge in my book. Teenagers are most influenced by these factors. They are more susceptable to addiction. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
  14. Pinkington. . . Are you by any chance relations to a Navy Chief Petty Officer who served at RIO Hilla, Iraq? _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
  15. Maybe this issue should be pushed some more. According to the FAQ's on this page, the Military is required to perform this service if requested. http://www.militaryfuneralhonors.osd.mil/faqpage.html# I know one thing about the Navy, they definitely inconvience a service member to keep their mission. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
  16. So they got a letter? _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
  17. I have. She was a money grubbing snobby bitch who loved confrontation. Learned alot of things. Apparently I hated myself. I changed and then was able to marry the finest woman on this planet. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
  18. I can play "the trees" by rush. I can't do it on Rock Band or Guitar hero or whatever that song is in. But a friend who has never sat behind a kit before can score higher than me. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
  19. Sorry for your loss. I'm Active duty Navy and am curious why they wouldn't render honors. According to your description, he was eligible unless dishonorable discharged. Were they too busy by any chance? _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
  20. Don't forget to have some sort of product to legitimize your scheme. Don't worry, just price them above the market and put serious restrictions on how to distribute them that way only your "busines owners" will buy them. To add insult to injury, make them listen to motivation speakers that infer that they will learn something as well as being motivated. Have them pay for it. This shit is legal!! _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
  21. Is it based on the MSRP of the car or the market value? does it account for the factory incentives that usually comes with the vehicles? That would scewer the percentage. Make it higher. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
  22. Sounds like a blow off. "We thank you for putting in an effort, but we'll call you, dont call us." _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
  23. From what I hear, he's not much of a fox hole buddy either. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
  24. You can get arrested for having the stuff on you. You must be single without kids. Doesn't make it responsible. Have you ever driven around with a dime bag on you or your friends person? Better yet; been pulled over? You go ahead and argue law with them. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
  25. Nope. The crack epidemic was getting too much. The people screamed for action. they got it. Nope. some assholes flew some planes through some buildings and bush decided to act. The govt don't need to make up some bad guys. they will come. There will be a new "War on - -". There is no need for the govt to fill in the hole for drama purposes. _____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
