    I recently got my license and wanted to upgrade from the crappy second hand helmet I've been using so I did some helmet research. Ultimately the price, the construction and the comfort made me go with the ROK. Its super comfy yet perfectly snug so it doesn't move around on your head. I'm able to wear my sunglasses with this helmet which is a big bonus to me. All in all if your looking for on open face helmet , you cant go wrong with the Rok!!

    I didnt think i was that far out of the norm when i considered my weight and height but it turned out to be not so simple. I happen to have a looong torso and a big ass so everytime i found a container it didnt fit right.(I tried a bunch of them) I wound up having to get a new container but i was able to find used canopies pretty easilly.     Ive read his books and when he talks about the things him and his team did during Vietnam was amazing!! From what Ive read he laid the groung work for a lot of what the SEALs are today. Im not military but ive read several books by and about this guy. Wait , I pull what first?

I was in florida on vaca and hit Deland and Palatka while there and theres 2 dz's here at home i go to(mostly the Ranch) Im planning on going to cross keys next week or skydive long island the week after(both have boogies) i have to see which works out better for me.     When I was about to get my license I was nervous about moving over to the "licensed skydivers" side of the DZ. I was worried about having to fit in and meet new people to get accepted so I could jump with other people. I have to say it's been a fantastic time so far! People have gone out of there way to make me feel at ease and accepted. I haven't done a solo since getting licensed and even got invited to do a hybrid jump( I fall like a brick!). I can't wait to see what lies ahead! Wait , I pull what first?
