Your going to be spending a lot of time ( and money!) at the DZ you choose so getting a feel for them and the people there is a good idea.     Im just recently off student status and ive been flying a suit with booties for the last few jumps. The booties make a huge difference in your flying!!! I think they are well worth it. Speek to the jumpers at your DZ that jump with them, im sure they can give you some insight. Wait , I pull what first?

    I'm in the market for a helmet and I'm leaning towards the cookie Roc. I'm jumping an open face helmet now and I like the feel of the wind in my face when I jump , but should I consider a full face helmet? Is it a good choice for a noob? Any input is appreciated . Wait , I pull what first?

    A lot of people take the bus up there and back home. Once you get to know a few people i bet carpooling wont be that tough. i know on sundays there are lots of people heading back to the city and most are willing to offer rides. Check ranchrookie.com on the forums also. Wait , I pull what first?
