    Uh, sure... wimps. Unfortunately I let a friend/rep for the company grab it while i was super busy to "update it for me real quick." Lost the last 3 years of logs. Yes, he feels like shit. Just trying to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

    Un-freakin-believable. This is disgusting. Whoever did this is the scum of the earth and should burn in hell. I haven't seen Lee in a couple of years, but what a guy. I'm very shocked and saddened by this. My thoughts and prayers are with the Atlanta crew.

    Don't do it. You'll get a "staff" infection and all of a sudden you will find you don't know how to freefly anymore and all you do are work jumps while your friends go play. Then your friends will whine and give you hell for not jumping with them, while student manifest pages you to tell you you are on a back to back in 5 minutes. At the end of the day you will have plenty of cash in pocket, but you will find yourself sitting around the fire wishing you had stories to tell about how you turned 6 points in a 4way VRW. Hmph. By the way, this IS how things work, but I do love flying student video. There is nothing cooler than experiencing that first jump with someone again and again and again. Just be ready for a big transition in your jumping career. Kind of like married people going from bikini getaways to drooling babies.

    hola banana! i have the crv 2006 and LOVE it. it is a fantastic car. i've taken it on plenty of road trips and through snow, etc. in fact, it's already got over 20,000 miles in one year. the gas milage is great, it handles excellent in tricky road conditions, you can sleep in it, and it's generally very comfortable. i personally swept up a 2006 just before the 07 model came out because i liked the look of it better. all in all, couldn't be happier with the purchase. oh, and one more thing... hondas last forever.

    I assume you aren't a competitor? What does it matter? The foreign dropzones pay the same amount to be group members of USPA. Why should they be treated any differently? And no, I don't compete, but I am a vidiot in the sport. I submit my photos and on occasion I am published in Parachutist magazine. I bet you if you submit an article or picture you will be published too. If you don't like what you see... change it. Simple as that.

    Admittedly, it's a controversial thread title to attract attention to what I believe is an important discussion. Maybe I broached the subject badly. But look, if you like having a photo of the French team on the cover of the United States' association's calendar, that's great. I just don't think it's very healthy or positive for the sport of US skydiving, but that's just my opinion Wow, I have actually never thought of skydiving in terms of US skydiving before. Weird. I'm okay with having the French team be on the cover. There are French dropzones that are group members of the USPA. They pay for their subscriptions too. Should they not be featured in the magazine????

    As said I plan to write to them. I don't think it's unacceptable to post for discussion on a public skydiving forum also, though. It is a more effective medium for debate than the magazine. It did not come off as a "discussion", it came off as an accusation or attack. Try to be a little more positive... it's healthier.

    Instead of complaining so much, why don't you just sent USPA some pictures? I have, and they've been published. Maybe they have slim pickins. I know for a fact those guys work long and hard hours over there to prepare that magazine each month. I think they are doing a fantastic job. Plus, I'm sure if you email them some suggestions/constructive criticism they would be very responsive to you. But who wants to be responsive to bitching like this? Keep up the good work USPA! Thanks for everything!
