I saw that afterward. I hope your tandems are flying better.

Use dish soap like stratostar said, but make sure your canopies and cypres are out of the container when you do it. It may be best to just let your rigger do it.... Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

Anyone know if 16 year olds can jump?
bodypilot1 replied to froggish's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Nope. Lodi has always been $100 tandems and video is just $35 for a VHS of your skydive. Jump tickets are $13/50block or $15per ticket to 13K from an Otter, Beech 99 or KingAir Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com -

Myself and Keith Wyatt were on it also. And it was Timmy Klocker not Francis shooting video. I have it around here somewhere with the stills that Timmy gave me. Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com -

Dont think of it in numbers, that means nothing. You have to prove your ability to other jumpers at times before they will let you on a jump with them. Start some weekend by doing something small with one of the jumpers that was on that load, prove you ARE good enough, and then they will let you on. And never get discouraged by not being able to get on a load. Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

Best shots of Instructors EARNING Thir money
bodypilot1 replied to steveorino's topic in Instructors
Dont for get how to fly just because you have someone strapped to your front side. If you didnt have a student in front of you, how stable do you think you'd be? Fly your body well and it wont matter what the students body position is to be stable. Here's one of my tandems from last summer and how I fly on just about every tandem. At 40 tandems, practice flying your best and try not to even worry about the camera until it become more natural for you. You'll get it..... Words of wisdom for new AFF instructors?
bodypilot1 replied to Shyandinnocent's topic in Instructors
Quote You can NEVER tell how a student will do in the air. I've had students nail the dive flow on the ground, then totally blow it in the air. I've had that guy too! [cough] Huh Shark? [/cough] Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com -
Having DZ's that are close enough to compete, and working at both is unfortunatly a tough thing sometimes, when it comes to choosing which one to stay loyal to. Unfortunatly DZO's or DZM's can be as understanding as a kindergardener, when it comes to where people jump and who you spend you hard earned money with. If your roots are at the DZ that is reopening, and it's closer to home, meaning less time to get to as well as less of a drive, then your choice is an easy one. On the other hand, if you have asked the DZO, that you are at now, for a slot on the DZ's Instructor board, and he is counting on you to be there for his students, keep your commitment with him until he can find someone to replace you. Have an honest talk with them about the reopening drop zone thats closer to your home, and that you'd like to have less of a drive when you go to work. If they are muture enough to understand your situation they should have no problem with you going back, and have no hard feelings when and if you should jump return to there again. If you are making a living in the sport, try not to burn bridges, so you can have the choice to jump or work anywhere you want. But dont get bent when the DZ say's they have no work for you should the DZ close again. Hope this helps. Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

That will be interesting....... Does that mean they should have no problems being able to get in any slot? Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
