  1. Wait a minute...I didnt do anything wrong and I received three daughters...That just ain't right....Oldest is 6 now and I don't look forward to my future headaches, heartaches, and financialaches. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  2. Bite your tongue!!! Just the thought of that gives me chills. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  3. I had an old model trv style box that I cut a small hole in the back for the viewfinder and a small hole in the top to access the zoom toggle and never had any kind of structural problem. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  4. I bought into a franchise restaurant in 1992 when I was 24 and have very much enjoyed being my own boss. There are pro and cons of it but the pros mostly out weight the cons. The stress is killer because you never get to turn it off. (Thank goodness for Lexapro) You don't get to punch out and forget about it, so work is always on your mind. But on the other hand even when I'm not at the stores, (say off skydiving) I'm making money. But then there's employees!!!!! The number one headache. It sucks when just as your about to load up for a righteous jump you get a phone call that so-and-so just quit and there's no one to cover their shift. Like I said there's good and bad...on one hand I admire my friends who get to forget about work for 2/3rds of their life, but one the other I don't have to put in near the physical labor they do. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to give up my business and go back to work for someone else but then I quickly slap myself and say WAKE UP. Hell I've done this work for so long now, I haven't a clue what I'd do in a REAL job. Which brings up my final point... being my own boss gives me the opportunity to go back and finish college...If I ever get a 'round tuit'. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! 5. Any "special" ingredients? Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  6. Lew, I'm glad you stuck to your morals and told the truth about it. I had the same thoughts of lying to the insurance company to have my home owners coverage cover my mishap. I even called in the claim and as soon as I hung up with them my conscience took over (and the fear of insurance fraud) so I had to immeadiatly call them back and cancel it. I also thought about taking it out to the street and runninig over it some but I figured the claim specialists would be smarter then that. I also figure they are trained for finding fraud and I didn't want to keep the lie going. I'll bet this will turn out well for you by doing the right thing. In my case... I'm just out $3k My wffc mishap... http://www.villagephotos.com/viewpubimage.asp?id_=8419261 Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  7. My main has been packed more by a packer then myself. It started off because I was busy editting video but that turned into laziness even for fun jumps. I figure I can afford it so why shouldn't I spread the wealth. Only seldom will I get a schwacker, but still nothing I couldn't handle. If it came down to it, then yes I would do it myself. Which happens enough to keep me current on it, but thats only if I have to bring it home. I don't like to show up to the dz needing a pack. Edit: and to answer the original question...I won't pay more then $5 unless I have to. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  8. What was the FXC charge? I've set off FXCs before, nothing to do except reset them... or am I being naive here...? I suppose it depends on which model FXC...The old mechanical ones (Sentinel 12000?) only require a stiff pull to reset, whereas FXC also makes the Astra, which is more like a Cypress, with replaceable cutters. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  9. Hmmmm let me think.... The one that sticks the most is (pre jump 100) doing a horny gorilla with my BRAND NEW Tevas. Upon release of the hg, my ankle strap comes off my heel and the Teva almost comes off. In hind-sight I should have just let it go and chalked up the lose rather then fight to get it back on while still on my back and not flippin over to pull until I saw others above me opening. Needless to say the low opening caused a WAY off landing. Basically...Lose of altitude awarness!!! Oh yeah... then during the same off landing in a cow field there was a bull that was too close for comfort so I start waving my canopy at him to scare him off... which luckily worked....mind you it was a red canopy. Another is earning the name "Divot" while teaching myself how to swoop or having my name turned into a verb...Don't Alex your landing" If your gonna be dumb... You'd better be lucky. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  10. Me ole Aztek shuts down at 113mph then kicks back in at 110. There's some great empty straight strechs on the 1.5 hours drive to the dz. Caught? Not yet luckily. Radar? Yes but tends to stay unplugged. It would take a plane to tag me in the spots I speak of. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  11. Can my dog come in as well....I promise to slap his nose when he scoots his ass along the carpet. Seriously tho.... Props to Sangiro and Crew....errr lets say Kudos instead . Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  12. It goes back to a recurring child hood (9yrs old) dream of jumping off the house roof and flying to the end of the driveway. Move forward 20 years and my wife buys me a jump for a Father's day gift after hearing my reply to a radio ad we heard. It was only supposed to be one jump and does she ever regret doing that. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  13. amazingly broke 300 mph.....thats just awesome!!! Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  14. To me it's not about the religous aspect of it...It's all about common courtesy. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  15. I ALWAYS do about 5 over but on the way to the dz that usually creeps up to 20-25 over. And no I'm not proud of it but he asked so I answered. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  16. I might be mistaken here but I believe items are copyrighted and phrases/names/titles are trademarked or maybe it's the other way around but the point is I'm pretty sure there is a difference. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  17. I work at a Subway and many years ago before Subway was well known we used to get people that when asked if they would like a six inch or footlong, they would come back with "How big is a footlong?" I realize it IS a valid question for the first-timers but it was very hard to keep back the snickers and to calmly answer "12 inches" while I show them a bread. It's also funny to watch a group of teenie bopper girls come in and start giggling when asked if they would like a six inch or footlong. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  18. I am also a friend of this jumper and I also HIGHLY recommended this company to him as I exclusively jump their product (3 kinds of suits, freefly pants, and casual pants). I just found out about this ordeal today and I just wanted to say, kudos to the manufacturer for going the extra step (whether right or wrong) to keep your customer happy! You've given me even more reason to keep up my recommendations. Thank you. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  19. Say maybe a liquor store!!!!! Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  20. 9 months late on delivery of a $58 silk plant...no replies to phone messages...and thru emails, 5 different promised ship dates. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  21. I've been bamboozled by an on-line company and just wanted to pass on a heads up. Don't do business with www.silkgreenhouse.com. They are registered with the BBB. http://www.indybbb.org/commonreport.html?compid=27004790 And no I don't have a green thumb Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.
  22. Funny this comes up...I just added mine all up...From what I see this should make all of you feel better. 7 cards total $57,964.26 Time for a debt consolidation plan.
