You said it best.....fun gimmick....still neat to have just in case of those times when I would say "Damn I wish I had a picture phone right now". Though that is few and far between. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.

Tell me this isn't serious because the way it's described sounds like what my trv22 has been doing here lately. Though the lines are more grey then black and sometimes they are of a different part of the video that is frozen. Sometimes I can ff till they dissappear then rw back to the begining and pause, but if I stop and restart then they'll be back. I've run a cleaning tape threw a couple times and that seemed to help but it still happens occasionally. Suppose it's time to send it off for cleaning. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! I stand corrected....I'll shut up now Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.

something to consider...the HC series doesn't have a lanc port for a cam-eye2 if I'm not mistaken. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.

Pull Altitude, Hard Decks and Audibles
VisionAir replied to Reginald's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
One of my reasonings on this is that I don't want to try to keep up with what is what....only that if/when I hear beeps I need to be looking at my visual. And I figure a hard deck alarm being twice as loud ain't a bad thing. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M. -
Pull Altitude, Hard Decks and Audibles
VisionAir replied to Reginald's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I've just recently got the space for two audibles (one on each side) and I've set them for 5500, 3500, 1500, and 4500, 2500, 1500. I haven't jumped it yet so I can't comment on the alternate ear thing but both going off at my hard deck should definetly be a wake up call to be doing something. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! As I don't have either, I really couldn't say but I'd quess that it would be tight but possible. I would like to see a "Z-Bracket" made for it and mount the slr in front. But thats just me because I don't like the unbalance of side mount. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.

Here's a few more of it ready to jump....only 36 hours to go Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.

...in 29 days! Now I can't wait to get it put together and jump it. Initial reaction....It looks fantastic and the fit is tight...nice and secure. I'll be top mounting a trv d-box on it. Way to go BH on this one. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.

I'm going to try to give up meat....need advice
VisionAir replied to Vallerina's topic in The Bonfire
You can read my above post on what I eat, but as a former vegan, and now pretty much still vegetarian, I still think boca burgers and the garden burger are NASTY. Turkey burgers are edible, but maybe you guys just make them differently. I have had a lot of veggie burgers that taste great from a restaurant, but I have yet to taste any tofu, boca or garden anything that doesn't taste like @ss Ha! Ask (petiton) your local Subway to start stocking the Veggie Burger (Garden Burger, VeggieMax) that is available to them. Many owners don't feel it sells well enough to stock it but I (being the only stores in AR that do stock it) sell enough of it to keep it around. I even like it occasionally for a lite snack being the heavy duty meat eatter that I am. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M. -

Anyone hear about the camera-man who jumps without gear?
VisionAir replied to medusa's topic in Skydiving History & Trivia
I knew a guy renting student gear who was first out and no one noticed the bright red static line fastened across the back of his blue and gray rig. -Blind Not to steal the thread but.... He was not first out...I was...He had his back to the pilot, (C-182) which is why no one noticed the static line, and he was last out. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! I hang but keep my left foot on the edge of the step mainly for stablity but also to be able to assist a passenger in a sitting position (read: bad knees) from keeping their left leg from dangling in front of the wheel and step. If their leg is in danger of dragging across the step I'll assist them (with my right foot) in placing their left foot on their right foot on the step. And ya do the hokey pokey and ya turn yourself around Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M.

I was born (so to speak) at Skyranch 7 years ago and still call it home even when there's another DZ half the distance from my house. I know of another jumper (one of our TMs) that drives an additional hour and a half past a dz that's 30 min from his house to get here. Good people and great times!

when a camera freefalls to the ground.....

when a camera freefalls to the ground.....
VisionAir replied to jimmytavino's topic in Photography and Video
I feel your pain Jimmy....least it was only one of those cameras. BTW...Be sure to test that battery well. Mine would say full charge and then die after a few minutes use. Unfortunatly right on exit of a tandem video. Oddly enough the camera in the attachment is or rather was a trv20 as well. Huh?!? What cloud?!? Oh that!!! That's just Industrial Haze Alex M. -
