  1. They're obviously inside the suit, duh! Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  2. The forum may have been faster. At the time of his post Morpheus was closed (maybe?), and he still got an answer in an hour... Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  3. I've never had insurance. Be careful, don't get hurt, and if you do get hurt, self medicate! Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  4. Wow, that would be extreme! Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  5. Yes, but the insurance is not for you. Its in case you hurt someone else or damage property at a USPA affiliated DZ making a jump in accordance with the BSRs Therefore, any injury you sustain is yours to deal with, much like you hitting a pole in your car while holding liability insurance. 6. Valuable info, thanks! Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  7. This is getting a bit off track due to the safety nazis. While I appreciate smart asses like billvon (I, too am a smart ass), I really would like some serious opinions about a good, very quiet helmet disregarding the safety aspect. (we can talk about that in the safety forum.) Thanks guys. Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  8. He'd really trip if he ever saw the 360 degree rainbow around his shadow on a cloud! Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  9. Holy shit... Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  10. Mirage G4 with UNISYS harness and freefly hackey! Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  11. That sounds like a cool idea. Have you tried something like this, or is it just an idea you have? Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  12. I still want a quiet ride when I've got a fast forward speed. The earbuds aren't as loud as an external audible speaker. Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  13. There were goggles in that pic? The gunner looks pretty comfy. Anyone else know about how quiet these are? Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  14. No, not a troll. It will only be for wingsuit flights. I'm also getting a Neptune 3 Audio to link up with the mp3 player. But whether or not its a good idea is irrelevant. I was just trying to get opinions about which open face helmet is the quitest in terms of wind noise, or perhaps a better way to reduce wind noise with earbuds in. Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  15. What open face helmet blocks the most wind noise during freefall. I currently have a Sky Systems HR2 which I love, but am not a fan of the wind noise, as I like to listen to my mp3 player during freefall. Any experience or suggestions? Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  16. First jump at 4, First wingsuit flight at 14, First wingsuit landing at 24? Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  17. Invisible harness or not, I'd love to see him deal with a violent spinning malfunction on his back hanging from the rig like that! Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  18. How did you find out it wasn't a skydive? Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  19. He could jump legaly in the United States as well. I'm soooooo jealous! Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  20. That's for pussies! Really, in the plane you're with people you know anyway, and once you land, you'll have a big sheet of nylon to cover yourself with anyway. Bringing extra clothes only complicates things, and don't even think about bringing it in freefall: safety risk with stuff flapping all over the place. And where are you gonna put it anyway? in the BOC? Lol! Um, I think it was a subtle warning about getting pied, not the naked jump... Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  21. What I'm wondering about is the longest freefall time without the use of any suplimental oxygen. For example, when someone uses no suplemental oxygen immediately prior to take off, on the flight, or during the actual freefall, and not the height record, but the duration of flight with no parachute or drogue deployed. Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  22. No its not. Yes it is. 's not! 's to! http://www.amazon.com/Snot-Stew-Minstrel-Book-Wallace/dp/0671693352 Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  23. What is the world record for the longest freefall time without the use of oxygen? Blue skies, Keith Medlock
