Wow, Kevin. That is about the most fucked up story I have ever read. It absolutely boggles my mind that anyone would go to such lengths to enact "revenge" upon someone they dated. And it boggles me even more that she was able to come across as sane enough for you to originally be attracted to her. it's scary - you think you know someone and then this! I'm really sorry this happened to you. And I know it's cliche but I really believe what goes around comes around. My thoughts exactly while reading the whole thing. Fall in dove.

I prefer a guy who takes care of himself. Not someone who is totally cut (though that is fun to ogle - eye candy for girls!), not someone skinny and not someone overweight (though I do prefer some meat on dem bones.) But as cliche as ya'll are gonna say it sounds, personality is the biggest turn on (or turn off) of all. Give me a guy with a great sense of humor, a sense of compassion and huge capacity for love and you've got me. And a smart guy just makes him that much more appealing. Oh, and one more thing. He must be clean. I'm not talking about a "metrosexual" with shelves of lotions and hair gels. But no science projects growing in the ears please. And clean teeth - they don't have to be perfect or straight but they do gotta be clean. Clean = kissable!

How badly do you want THAT van? You could get a nice used car or van for less than that. I know someone who got a great deal on a NICE Caravan for less than $1500. Just giving you another option. And I know waiting sucks, but the sky will always be there waiting for you.

I know nothing about VWs or how to fix a car but I wouldn't trust someone who pressured me to do it now or pay more tomorrow. Sounds to me he's scared you'll get a 2nd opinion or at least start shopping around for a better estimate. I just got my car fixed and I got estimates from $360 to $850 for the same job. I would hold off if I was you. Or at least get up early and start calling around to other places to get estimates on the exact same repair. That way, if you're really getting a good deal you can still give him the go-ahead tomorrow. Good luck. Finding a good, honest mechanic is tough. Fall in dove.
