WARNING: I'm feeling a little sentimental today, so I hope you will all allow me to use my 1000th post to tell you all that I think you are all truly wonderful people. I've known some of you for a long time on here, met a few of you in person and had the priviledge of jumping with a few of you. I've gotten helpful advice, skydiving and non-skydiving related, from boobies to ex's, and even more laughs. I've definately been given a lot to think about and ponder from some of you...I always enjoy learning new things and getting perspectives that I may not have ever thought about without it being suggested. I thought of that too Mouth. The children. I watched where this girl thought her dad had been in the building, as he would have had he not decided to go jogging that morning at a spur of the moment before work. She didn't know this and thought he'd been in it. Then I watched this morning a mother talking about her son calling her from the plane, things he said and showed pictures of his wife and child. I've had to start turning off the news and let the kids watch cartoons instead because it upsets me to the point of crying so frequently that I just can't stand to watch it more then every so often to hear any new information. I tried explaining to the kids last night what was going on and my son pretty well doesn't grasp the situation, for which I'm actually glad. He's 6 in another week or so. My daughter, however, gets upset like I do if she thinks about it too much and I don't even tell her everything. She wonders how we can know they aren't going to hurt us too. I reassure her that they won't, we are safe...but I too have my doubts sometimes. I don't think any of us feel very safe right now. Hemp/skydiving jewelry pics!

Skyhawk, we know you didn't mean it in a derogatory way, at least I know you didn't. If we are going to all come together on a forum, being from many different nations and beliefs, we will all have to give each other a chance to explain ourselves from time-to-time to help clear up misunderstandings that can come from all of our different cultures. Jumping to conclusions about what we think they are meaning in a statement is probably going to cause many more problems on here if we can't try to at least point out the problem in an open-minded way and give the person a chance to respond and/or apologize. I have to agree. I think we all deal with serious matters in our own way. After working with police officers, dispatchers, EMS, and so forth, I know that I've certainly seen it. You'd be disgusted at some of the things that are said that would seem very inappropriate. This was a horrible tragedy for everyone, and I think we need to all set an example of forgiveness and try to practice some patience....including myself. (I'm sorry for my own irritation and hateful words this morning Merrick. I love you.) It's a time to join together, everyone. Hemp/skydiving jewelry pics!

I was contemplating all of the people this will effect that we haven't even thought of. What about life flights? As a son who would've died without being lifewatched, what is happening with those poor people?? Things like that...it's so very sad. Hemp/skydiving jewelry pics!

Oh? Thanks...was beginning to think from most responses and 'the other stuff' I was alone or a fluke. Got a lot of flack for being upset with them, which I had always thought was my right...to voice my experiences (politely I'd thought, with the exception of one bad word which I even call Merrick from time to time *g*). I have to agree with Merrick I guess. I'm still unhappy with the situation, and even more unhappy with events that happened afterwards, but they are excellent rigs. I would've liked to have heard what specifically happened,if there was some reason things occurred as they had, but I've never gotten that from anyone. You might talk to someone there about service after the sale, perhaps they'd explain things to you more clearly then I'm aware of personally. I lived with a salesman, so I know how it can sometimes be once the sale is done. My ex was a terrific guy...as long as you hadn't bought yet. But then again, sometimes it's then out of that person's hands, or there were extenuating circumstances that I would've liked to have been made aware of. Who knows. I'm also mixed as you can tell. Thank you so much for your support though. I certainly don't want to have everyone not buy Mirages because of my situation, I just wanted to voice my frustration at that time. Just before 10:00 am this morning (eastern time) I believe. I was just talking to my Mom and she said she was watching Good Morning America, and just as it was getting ready to go off, they came on with the news about the first plane. While cameras were getting that, she actually saw the second plane hit the second tower. She said it circled around to obviously miss the first and hit the second. A prayer for everyone. I hear they are shutting down everything in NY basically right now...planes of course, government buildings and such. I hope this is the end of it too...that these attacks aren't planned for the entire nation. Hemp/skydiving jewelry pics!
