Well, I've used FTP's before, so that's not a problem. However, is that going to help? Here's what is happening right now...It's on Tripod (hush, I know), so it opens up a link that says : Please click on http://skydivechick.tripod.com/lakeworkout.mpg to download this file. I do, Windows Media opens up and then I get this error: Cannot open. Please verify that the path and filename are correct and try again. So...using a non-freebie server will fix that? Family Photos

Okay computer guru's. Does anyone know where/how someone can load an mpeg onto a site that will be viewable by all?? I know that we've had mpeg's on here where you need this or that CODEC and such. I don't want to make people just wanting to view my kids' Taekwondo mpegs have to download all this extra stuff too. So is there a better way? Can you put that stuff into the mpeg itself (I just make the mpeg from the video on our PC9 then upload it from the memory card). Thanks guys! Pam Family Photos

I hope, I hope, I hope....still planning on getting there....cross your fingers for us! A friend is supposed to be watching the kids for us, with Merrick's mom helping out. However, she's had some personal problems of late (possible break up long coming w/6 year boyfriend) and his Mom has just started chemo treatments...so we're still unsure and probably won't know definately until the last minute. It would be nice to just pretend none of it is going on...no it would be fantastic! Unfortunately, though, I'm not 16 anymore and feel like I should take some sort of interest in the world/country that I live in so that my children will have one worth living in. I guess it's all just a part of growing up :/ Besides I don't think I could hear about this and NOT care. Just not possible. Not much I can do about it, though. I *do* wish that people that choose to live in this country would appreciate it or get out. If you truly don't like what Americans are doing, then why do you stay here?? I just don't get it.
