Good to hear you are going to be okay Blaine. I'm sure it's actually going to be a blessing to have some assistance around while you are healing...in all manners :) You'll be ready to go again by the time it starts warming up a bit. Just try not to think about it too much. I hear that tends to happen with a lot of people who are out for a while because of injury...they think about it over and over in that down time, wigging them out worse the more they do because it always gets worse in their heads each time. I did a bit of that after my really low pull and getting tangled in the bridle as a student. Take care! Pam Family Photos

Who the hell was that person?! Gawd, they sucked! Bwahaha! Alright, alright, that'd be me. I'd like to say, in my defense, I was still pissed off about my last crappy jump where I lost my Dytter. Okay...so I just suck anyway. hehe I went over the formation the first time because I overshot it, then went low of course, came back up, tried to get in and again was going to overshoot, so tried to stop the way I was told (legs up ass, arms out) but was apparently going to fast and flipped over backwards. LOL! It's pretty hilarious to watch Hence the whole 'zoomie' comments afterwards. Poor Scottie was trying to help me out with it, but I'm still working on it. :) It's getting better tho...just hard to do too much practicing up here when we get 10,000 on average :/ Family Photos

Hmm..don't know about that..but I do believe they have to be routinely calibrated from having worked at the PD for a few years. Unless that's changed now..it's been a while (5 years or so). Family Photos

For the record, I think Skymama's thoughts were pretty accurate. There are a few lines that just shouldn't be crossed just for the sake of humor. Perhaps it takes age to realize that sort of thing just isn't funny because it's not necessarily an impossibility in this day and age. Having almost lost my son as a newborn, it certainly is a touchy subject with me. However, we probably shouldn't bring a discussion that was closed by HH onto another thread. It'll just end up getting heated with the subject being what it is. As for the tat...enjoy. It stings at first, but will go numb for the most part then you'll have something to enjoy for a lifetime. (oh no, another touchy subject on this forum...lol) Family Photos

It takes me about 20 mins on average ... and that's with my habit of not being too particular. If the nose is rolled, the stabilizers cleared, and the tail rolled, it's good! I'm just happy that I can get it in the bag the first time now! (usually

Bwahaha! Sorry, just had to laugh. It took me 50 damn jumps to be able to finally pack decently. Be careful with psycho pack...worst opening I've ever had...but it also was my third try to get it in the bag too *shrug* Family Photos

Ah damn! That'd been more fun then the field I landed in down there :) Family Photos

Boy, I can think of better ways to clear a hangover outta my head! Damn! Glad to here you handled it and was fine! One thing I always wonder when someone has a reserve ride...did you make it to the DZ or land off? It seems that sometimes, with people ending up low by the time they get a canopy open, that it might be too late to get back if it's a little bit long on the spot, or you tracked in the opposite direction for separation. So does that happen often on cutaways? No biggie, I've done it (landed off, not cutaway yet...thank gawd). Just wondered. :) Family Photos

All you guys hooking up in Houston...how'd it go?! Who made it there? Did they break the 'record'? :) Family Photos

Um, I checked into it once, I'll look again. (three-rings) It depends if you buy stainless steel or not, and if you get just rings like those ones had, or the one biggest ring that has the part also that is used to sew it on the harness. Paypal is international I believe also. Family Photos

And a new one to add to the list that I received today..."the perfect husband"

LOL! Poor guys...ya see, at least several of us women on here don't mind seeing these types of pictures also. So keep 'em coming! Hurt me, spank me, make me pay for being bad! :) haha Family Photos

I'm sure I could Medic, but have you looked at the price of three-rings? If you're willing to buy them, I'm in :) Family Photos
