Thanks for the info! It's like ya all said, we may never hear any more about it, but I was just curious if anyone knew more then was being put out by the news. Forgive me for probably a stupid question, but why would you do that? To scare them? I would think whomever did it would know they have a reserve that they are going to use. Obviously the chances of getting hurt or killed are higher by taking you down to your last chance, the reserve, from the start, but if you wanted to kill some people, then you'd hit the reserve and the main. I'm just puzzled. Maybe it was just simple vandalism with no real meaning :/ Pam

Emailing apx 100 letters out and pulling files on clients for next weeks apt. What am I really doing? Taking a stress break to keep from killing my bitch co-worker. What would I rather be doing? Jumping then drinking a LOT of beer. Will I get to? Depends on if my bitch co-worker gets her friggin job done so I can do mine...otherwise I'll be working this weekend too. Bitch.

You get SO much more attention then the guys do!! Totally off the subject, but had to talk about it and I don't think the gals at work would look at me quite the same way again if I chat with them about the good time I had when they unzipped my top...several times (wish I could say I thought of wearing a vest with a zipper on purpose, but was terribly glad that I did after I got there!). Truly, I had the best time I've had in a long while last weekend. Had my first lap dance and a fantastic time watching the little Mexican chick about tear Merrick's shirt buttons off with her teeth (I love how she purrs in your ear!) I've been to the strippers several times before, but never with the "fuck it, give me that roll of dollars" attitude. Anyway..been dying to talk about my weekend, and heaven knows I can't at the law firm! (Then again, they don't expect it of me there, so perhaps my friends there might surprise ME too!)

We haven't been up to CSS yet, but there are really great bunch of people down at Raeford. That's the main reason we haven't been up to CSS yet! Gee, it's great having the new dilema of "which DZ with the big planes do I want to go to...." Ah, such hard choices!

Merrick and I feel your pain...we're still trying to get things sorted out financially from not having his income for 7 months, so jumping is still WAY slower then we would like. BUT, come Hell or high water we will NOT sell our rigs...we shall all starve first :) So things are starting to look up for you also?

I'm totally in agreement with you Jose, and Christoofa. Anyone who jumps while impaired is endangering themselves and others, and I would friggin flip out if one day when my kids go make the tandem they are itching to do, I find out the tandem master has been doing either. I'm very open-minded about whatever anyone wants to do (including myself) after the beer light is on, but like Jose put so well...why screw up a good jump by being high or drunk? Besides, it looks bad for the rest of us. Shit, I don't like when I hear on the radio some guy this morning talking about how he loves skydiving BECAUSE he can die at it and it won't hurt. It makes the rest of us look like idiots who don't care about life. It's back to the old discussions about trying to get good press for the sport. I'm thinking that if you are getting that bored with the aspects of how amazing it is to just be up there in the air, or that complacent about the possible dangers, you are asking for a bitch slap from the skydive gods to remind you.
