Oh I forgot that I have one coming! Great! Pam
-
Woohoo! Thanks much Amber. I have a new desktop Pam
-
I take mine off at night, but then again, I have made several for myself so that I can wear different ones each day depending on what I'm wearing :) I'm such a girl! Thanks mouth
-
Ah hun, I missed it! Damn these people and their fat person drugs making me work and miss my buddie's birthday!! *smooch* Ya know I love ya!! So how's it feel to be old?! I'd call ya when I get home but it'd def'ly be past your bedtime! Pam
-
Phew! I think it'd make my a$$ pucker! I'd definately be wishing for my rig! So...what happened? Something to do with the pressurization right?
-
It's good to hear he's okay Greg. It must have been a terrible moment when you received that phone call. I'm sure your son knows how much you love him, but things like this have a way of making us want to speak it out a little more loudly then we might otherwise. We all need that reminder sometimes. Pam

That's my boy! (though he DID tell me I was doing drugs by drinking beer before! I guess that talk we had turned him completely around! LOL!) Pam

*sigh* Well, with the brakes having to be replaced in my car it was looking iffy for us going anyway (reserve repack $$ we coulda used *sniffle*) then the boss tells me that I will probably need to work Thanksgiving Day through the weekend then travel possibly the next week around NC. That figures. Woulda loved to finally get a balloon jump with my honey! It was the only one I skipped at WFFC when he broke his leg so we could at least have one jump together as a first ... he hasn't even done a CASA or Heli yet, at least I got those!

Stupid skydiving questions and ridicule
Pammi replied to narcimund's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
WWOOHHOOO!! Very good narcimund. Well said. There's no need to ever be rude or mean, even outside of the skydiving world. BTW...I did see an email sent out to a list elsewhere that expressed how sometimes hatefullyy opinionated some have been these forums. It'd be sad if DZ.com came to be known that way. Pam -
Now, some of those contradict each other....if I'm married to a skydiver, obviously he's not going to complain about me spending too much time at the DZ, nor am I going to turn down a date to jump, cuz that IS our 'dates' usually! Ah well, I'm a geek regardless...'skydiving geek' would just add another adjective to the front of a long list

Wow. What a fanastic tandem master too! Pam

It was pretty good...better then the first. I still am not a huge Harry Potter fan. (I think though it's mostly because it's all I hear about from my daughter and I'm pretty tired of it by now, though.) This one *did* seem pretty interesting for it being a second. Usually on sequels it never seems as good because it's harder to be surprised. There *were* parts a little scary for my 7 year-old, but he covered his eyes and loved the show anyway. My daughter, of course, really loved it! So I guess, if you're a Harry Potter fan, you should go. If you're not and you have to go...it won't be as bad as you think Pam
-
We're seeing it this evening, we bought tickets early so we wouldn't have to wait in lines. I'm not a big Harry Potter fan, but my daughter read all the books almost as they came out, so of course we HAVE to go. I'd rather go to a 'grown-up' movie :)

{covering her ears} nahanahnahanaha Can't hear about all your jumps!! Gawd, and what a year to be able to say that after all the crap with the economy! You suck!
-
I hear ya. That's the the gal who called me today saying she'd been 'exposed' to crack by the people who were doing it next door and had accidentally breathed it in. She'd also accidentally breathed in some reafer too. Mmm hmm. Your calling the attorney's office and saying this? Smart girl

Hi TEE! Good to see ya back! Where's the pics of the baby?! What'd you have?? Pam
-
That's a fantastic picture Bluefingers! Thank heavens you're in SA...I'd have to worry about ya being around Merrick if you were any closer :) Seriously, great pic! Pam
-
That's the way I do mine Drenaline. I didn't know it had a name! Just had Merrick show it to me once. I don't S-fold mine either tho after that so I'm not sure how that works out. I do it a little different to get it in the bag (which is a struggle for me sometimes with my small hands and I had a pretty new Sabre). Pam
-
You're going to Atlanta?? Hmph.
-
*I* pay for them, but Merrick will say that he does. Just kidding...all our money goes into one pot, so those rare moments when we can jump, it all comes from the one place like everything else. When we were dating and just started jumping, tho, he paid for more then I did since I was a single mom and he was the programmer college grad making more money.

You might try Allrecipes.com I use this site a LOT because I like to try new recipes all the time. They have where you can choose by type of meat, way that you want to cook it and low carb stuff too. I do a lot of recipes with boneless, skinless chicken breasts because of the high protein, low fat/carbs. I love the Chicken Marsala, but try to lowfat it a bit more by baking it, and last week did a baked Chicken Cordon Bleu with Marsala wine sauce. It was fantastic :) Pam

You should also check out Tad's Sportswear They are in Australia so it's quite a bit cheaper. We both got our freefly suits from them and they were great! I'm not sure what the exchange rate is right now tho...The dollar is pretty sucky right now. They were $150 a piece with tie-dye AND the shipping. Pam

I would love to have the song "Adrenaline" from the Triple X soundtrack on a vid. Or if the video is of just me, then "I'm Just a Girl" would be cool.

ROFL! I was worried about opening it...
