I agree that the government should not have any thing to do with telling us whom we can or cannot marry but I think one step further from that is what makes religion so special that it can have a say in who marrys who. When did marriage all of a sudden become some religious topic because marriage predates Christianity. **SPOILER ALERT** Yeah I think the acting was absolutely horrendous and it just didn't have the Saw feel to it, everyone that was involved in a trap just died so after a while it became pretty redudant and by the end it turned into a downright slasher flick. Saw 2 was the best IMO. B.A.S.E. #1734

I am one of the biggest fans of the Saw franchise that you can find, but this movie was so poorly done I felt myself with my head in my hands through most of the half-assed dialogue and dull plot. It seems the movies just got progressively worse yet still enjoyable, but this one just took the cake for disappointment. Any other Saw fans out there let down? B.A.S.E. #1734

But I don't understand what you are saying? America should just be happy with the way things are going and just not talk about things? There are issues in our country and things need to be addressed naturally, people are going to have opposing viewpoints on these issues. So it's an unavoidable consequence. OK, I didn't explain my point very well. Its not so much the subjects as the way they're discussed (or not as the case usually is). Its the narrow mindedness that is so frustrating. I can't decide if its intellectual lazyness or shear stupidity that makes people lump others who happen to disagree on what they believe into a hate group (Republican or Democrat). Debate the subjects by all means but posting nonsense just to inflame the opposing political belief just gets boring (yes that is my opinion as a non american) I totally agree that it is asinine that people cannot think for themselves and they pretty much base their ideals on what their political party believes. I'll bite; can you explain ! It seems you are saying that one must be sure of the origin of life whatever their stance. It seems to me that we have 3 real options; 1, Creationism (of some genre ) 2, Atheism 3, Agnosticism Agnosticism is the only option there you do not have to be conclusive of what you believe. It seems to me the other options are pure arrogance as it is not possible for anyone to know everything. But I guess that is the beauty of being able to have your own opinion... ...isn't it. Explain how an atheist has to be conclusive?? Atheism is the least conclusive of the three, as an atheist you have no burden of proof. I don't have to prove to anyone that there is no god, I am simply a human being that goes about my life for the sake of humanity. I have not seen a "god" throughout my everyday life any much more than I have seen the true Easter bunny. If someone comes to me with proof and evidence of a supreme being and it seems to be inexcusable, I'll buy into it if it can be proven. No religion has simply met the burden of proof for me or any of the other millions of atheists out there, so atheism is not a position to hold, it is merely just a label people put on those who reject the claims made by all of the worlds religions.
