If you do make it down to Deep Ellum check out club DNA off of Good Latimer.Its a cool little techno club that my friends and I hang out at every now and then (after a good bar crawl through DE it takes a few weeks to recover before we do it again). The last time we went one of the Dallas radio stations (Wild 100.3)showed up and had thong/boobie contests and "whos most wild/freaky/erotic?" competitions..pretty interesting.It usually doesn't get to rockin til about 11-12 and stays open til 4AM. If you don't like it there are tons of other clubs,bars etc within walking/staggering distance. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

During AFF my JM and I were going over hand signals on the ride to altitude.He got to the last one and made an "OK/perfect" signal and wiggled his fingers a bit. (Imagine making a circle w/you first finger and thumb,then wiggling the remaining fingers..sry.stupid explaination). Well I tensed up b/c I didn't know this signal and sheepishly told him I didn't remember that one. He grinned and said "it means 'quit flying like an asshole'." This is very silly so please just roll your eyes and bear with me...just venting. Ok heres the deal.I love sitting in the courtyard at school between classes.On one particularly nice day a few weeks ago,I noticed a guy sitting there that just took my breath away.Hes prob 30ish, gorgeous shoulder length hair he keeps in a ponytail and has the most awesome smile that makes his eyes twinkle.Its not just his physical appearance, he just has this air about him that is so..well...beautiful.He reminds me alot of another guy I know whos awesome too that I met through DZ.com..but no I'm not telling who.I'm kinda smitten by this guy, but I don't even know his name! A few friends of mine hang out in his little group and as we all sat talking about the up-coming wedding of one girl she asked him if he were attending,but since this is a traditional Scottish/Irish wedding he'd have to wear a kilt.Of course I,being in a pretty playful/mischievous mood blurt out" well if hes going in a kilt I'm crashing the party!" and of course he hears it and blushes.(doh!)For the rest of the time before class I catch a few sheepish glances coming from his direction.I haven't really been around him since. So today he walks by while I'm sitting with a few friends and again mention that I really like this guy (stupid since I know nothing about him). They also know him and decided they are going to tell him about me/that I like him as soon as I leave for class.I haven't seen him nor them since then.Yipes! Help! I feel like such an idiot.This is so childish,schoolgirlish.I should just go up and talk to him myself.Why won't my feet move towards his general direction?I'm usually not shy at all (ask anyone from WFFC..LOL).I'm not shy and think of myself as pretty social/out-going..so whats the deal with this one guy? I haven't really done the whole dating/courtship dance since my fiance left me last year.I've had a few casual dates,a few romantic interests,but nothing serious.Anyone have any motivational words of wisdom for me?or "get your butt up off that bench and go talk to him" vibes? Since I do alot of my studing in law etc. I believe murder is justified if myself or a third party were in imminent danger.I have the right to protect myself,my loved ones,my property and those around me if needed. Since I do live in the great state of Texas and am a firm believer in capital punishment, I believe that state mandated homicide is also justified (yes, the death certificate of capital punishment inmates does state homicide as cause of death). I have a tattoo of a Native American dreamcatcher on my left hip.That didn't really hurt.I'm looking into getting another on my lower back but haven't finalized a design yet. As for piercings they're not too bad either.I don't have a navel piercing so I can't tell you about those, although I hear they take awhile to heal.I do enjoy the piercing I have, so yeah I guess its worth it.
