    I called her Amber the whole time in rantoul. Moody is such a negative name and she was in a fun, fantastic mood while she was there. I love her outside voice. LOL! yes but my RB name isnt much different.Its just a nicer way of saying my moods change alot. (..and damn those outside voices.I hate when they sneak out like that.)     Ditto. I was finally talked into getting on the altar Saturday night by Aprilcat, Bytch and Flyangel2 and I spared the crowd a little disgust by keeping my clothes on. I was lucky that my parents kept my initiation relatively tame (thanks bytch and wingi!)

    A map of the area surrounding the airfield, or even better, a county map complete with roads labeled and given to each jumper in the registration bag.I've discussed this with numerous jumpers during the convention and they thought it was a good idea.It'd be a great thing to have for those off-landings or when people are chasing the balloons to help pick up jumpers etc. I know the locals have been great about giving rides to jumpers when they land off but you cant guarantee someone will be there.Its good to have a cellphone to call people but when all you can tell the person coming to get you is "I'm on a gravel road surrounded by corn" its a bit of a lesson in futility...especially since the majority of us aren't familiar with the area.Having a map people could just fold up and stuff in their jumpsuits or keep handly while chasing balloons/off-landers would be so helpful IMHO.     Man, I have too many favorites for this year! -working as Norman Kent's assistant for the entire convention...very awesome experience! I'm looking forward to next year! -jumping for the first time in 2 yrs for my b-day (definitely want to get current now) -being able to share that special jump w/ 6 of the best people I've ever met! -meeting so many awesome people that I wont name them all b/c I know I'd leave someone out -way too many jello shots(then needing help finding my own tent after too many jello shots) -RoadRash's wonderful Amaretto Sours -Scotty and Tammi Carbone's yummy food! -HH lighting candles in the grass for my b-day w/a drunken group of dz.commers singing happy b-day lol -my Rodriguez Brothers initiation -the marshmellow fight during the couch burning - new friends and rediscovering old friends Theres so many other great memories! My list would be too long if I wrote them all.

    Ugh! I just got home and I'm tired! Even though I was working for the entire convention it was well worth it.I'll try to get some pics up later. BTW Kris, why do you always find the crappiest pics of me to put online? Anywho, I have a list of people I need to thank for finally getting me back in the air on my (slightly belated) b-day jump. Nightjumper- it wouldn't have happened without you.Mucho thanks and appreciation. Billvon Amy Wingnut jceman you guys are the best! Thank you for sharing such a great b-day experience. Nothing is better than time spent among friends.(Thanks for the RB initiation wingi!) Norman Kent-you're truely one of the most awesome people I've ever met.     No worries. I cheked my airline baggage policy before I packed. Each of my bags are under 35lbs(yes I actually weighed them).They just look like they're carrying a baby hippo inside. I just feel stupid strolling in w/these 2 big honking bags lol.Thanks for the heads up though.

    Ok I'm finally done packing..but damn I have alot of crap! I have 2 huge duffle bags packed and ready(1 for camping stuff 1 for everything else). Maybe I wont throw my back out lugging all of it around the airport.LOL! OK...16 hours until I'm in Rantoul! "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

    LOL! dont feel bad Lisa. I just finished packing. I have 1 bag w/all my camping gear and 1 w/all my clothes,toiletries etc. but damn they're still huge! I'm actually embarassed by how much luggage I'm taking b/c here I am w/2 huge duffle bags and I'm not even jumping at the convention! Anyone have some spare time around 3ish tomorrow to help me set up camp? "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

    In general I think I'd rather regret the things I've done rather than what I haven't done.Atleast then you can look back and say "shit I shouldnt have done that" rather than always wondering what if.Ofcourse there are always exceptions... Live and learn.

    Yup. After skybytch's thread on the topic I went down to Planned Parenthood and picked up the 2 dozen they donated. I'll prob leave a bunch in the DZ.com tent or passing them out. I doubt I'll be needing them. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."
