Don't fly a camera yet but I've been doing my research for a while as most people should. Here's a situation I've come across. I've been looking into the Rawa vision/image; I like the vision for a few reasons but it's mounting area is a more straight on level that would be ideal for freeflying. Now I know there are a million types of mounting devices, flatlocks etc. Are there any that allow you to adjust the angle? Say you were going back to flying belly but didn't want to be looking at the sun just to get the others in frame, is there a way on any locks to wedge it up a smidge? Stay high pull low

Need help with free fly suit selection
Psychonaut replied to castrodavidd's topic in Gear and Rigging
I think I started a thread not too far back about freefly suits. For me I came to the conclusion of a firefly one piece, but I was looking into two pieces and heard great things about them.. Stay high pull low -
Not to be the devils advocate, nor would I like the idea of the 12 months first jump to affi, but if it happened I don't necessarily think it would be the worst thing to happen. 500 jumps in 12 months is a reasonable amount, and if you did that you would be incredibly current. Currency is very vital! Stay high pull low

My mom bought me my tandem for my 18th birthday, and in her words it has 'gone down hill ever since.' She knows I'm going to do it, she knows I enjoy it, so she's okay with it. I actually got my step dad a tandem for his birthday because he had the common attitude of having to try it once.. A few months back I mentioned base jumping to her.. and she was completely against it. I was actually shocked at first with her being okay with skydiving but totally against base.. Probably just what she's seen on it, lack of education. But even with that, I guess you can't change everyone's mind about jumping from a few hundred feet at times Stay high pull low

Try a local cleaners. For some reason 'cleaners' doesn't sound like the right word, I'm having a brain fart. The place you take your clothes to get pressed and such.... DRY cleaners that's it Stay high pull low

Fall rate...any suggestions?
Psychonaut replied to TiaDanger's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Not to hijack however it's on topic; Does anyone have an opinion on flying mantis with your hands in by your pecks vs puttings your hands/arms back behind you? I personally haven't tried behind me but I have been planning on it; I fly mantis very often. The only thing I can think of besides personal preference and comfort level is the fact of how the air will flow more smoothly if your arms are behind your back as opposed to sitting there in front of you. Or am I over thinking and will that not make any difference at all? Stay high pull low -
Possibly borrow a helmet from someone? Is that an option? Stay high pull low

Saw that the other day, pretty neat. Back in highschool I wrote a nifty program to help you solve the cube, just start by setting it up on the screen how yours was and then it would just step you through it.. Without that, I can never solve one! I can easily do a side by if I try to do more things just get messed up ha Stay high pull low

Hell yeah haha. My boss is cool, young guy. I'm glad it isn't some old prick ya know? And it's nice that the guy running all the servers is cool. We could open a business with the amount of movies and such we have! Stay high pull low

Holy crap replies! It wasn't necessarily a big project just something I didn't know 100% at this point.. but I just sat down and grueled through it. And I agree with whoever mentioned getting out of programming.. it isn't always the most fun! Neither is IT in all aspects but it definitely leaves more hair that didn't get pulled out of your head.. Haven't really paid attention lately. If anyone's bored and knows these off the top of their hand that would be appreciated. It's from a discrete structures class #8 ...
