Go poly prop. I've been jumping with them nd have had know problems with the cold. It only took for years in the AF to get them for free !! jason

AARRRRGGHHH! The ballon jumps are only on the 27th!!!!!Thats the night were driving down on !! O'well we'll still have the helos to jump out of!! Hey steve I'll look you up when I get there. Should be there sometime on the morning of 28th through the 31st. jason

How old is your container? I fly a talon2 (DOM 2001) and it has the walrus teeth, tuc tab riser covers and long tuc tab for the reserve and have never had any problems with in a sit or attempting one . jason

I remember when I started out thinking how angerous this sport in but now after all the training and what little experiance I have I cant believe how SAFE it really is, I,m more neverous driving in a snow storm than jumping out of a plane at #### ft!! jason

I did AFP at our DZ and I'm glad I did. It consists of 2 tandems and 5 solos. I tought it was great for me and its a little cheaper than AFF. Didnt have any problems passing each level!! But you gotta do what you gotta do jason

A couple months ago some of you probably remember me posting that were going to have another baby. today we went in for the big ultrasound to see the sex and its going to be a boy!!. I just got my little girl (2.3yr old) her first closing pin necklace and my wife wondered why she got to where one and I told her its not that she doesnt want to jump...she just cant yet!! Anyway she hangs out at the DZ enough to desreve one!!! jason

I can see where your coming from and I do agree to a point. I dont think anyone here should be slammed on for there race, creed, color, or sex, but once you post here enough it does become like a little family, and as you know families will bicker!! Yes the insults have gotten a little caried away but HH and Skybytch have done a good job at keeping them in check, and like all posts this one will also soon be lost in the endless voids of past posts. So I say just be true to yourself , true to your neighbor...and happy paintings........(wtf) jason

Started skydiving in april after saving up for a year for the coarse, then got my own gear on jump 21!!!! Now as of today have 59 jumps and my A lic!! (waiting to take B&C together) Highest exit was 16,600...lowest was 3900. Most memeorable jumps I'd say was when the Super Otter came up to visit and we got into some 12, 9, and 8 ways. Not that we really turned anything on them but it was still a riot!!! Also jump 49 I held my first stable sit without rolling all over the place!!!!! As of now no major mals, one end cell closure, couple line twists and two hard pulls, but nothing requiring a cutaway! I'll be heading down to elsinore soon to do some ballon jumps so I'm sure my memorable skydive is soon to change. Not that the others jumps werent fun but I've never jumped a balloon before so I'm pretty excited about that. jason ( I also enjoy quiet dinners ,long walks in the park, and bunnies!) NOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!

Correction, I was climbing into an Otter once when the latter went out from under me. Had I not been hanging on to the barI could of had a bad fall. The stupid part was I wasnt even geared up....just checking out the plane!!! So I would say it has 2 purposes....1. To skydive off of and 2. an emergency hold on to when the latter is falling grip!!! jason (J/K w/ ya!!!!)

I took it as just a joke, I mean look at all the spoofs they do of other sports. If I spent all my time pointing out inacuracies I'd never get anything done. Take for instance "Behind Enenmy Lines", the pilot lands with a ram air.....HEY MOVIE POEPLE , THEY DONT USE RAM AIRS FOR FIGHTERS!!!!!. And the movie Terminal Volocity,, When they girl jumps outs and sheen sees her falling did anyone else notice there was no static line trailing behind her!!!! My piont is do what you gotta do but dont waste too much time pionting out imperfetions cause the advertising world is full of them jason

I know of one tandem mal that happened at our DZ (line twists) and the TM told the kid what to do and then chopped it. They ended up landing in a park next to a soft ball game. The kid said he just loved it!!!. I guess it was kinda good for him he didnt really realise the seriousness of the whole deal!! Guess he got his $$$ worth jason

I really didnt think it was that bad with just a protec. The adrenaline going through my body kept my mind off the cold ...that is until I landed!!!! jason
