we had a jumper dislocate his arm and he ended up flaring both toggles in one hand!!! still made for a hard landing but he was OK!! (other than his arm)!!

Hey ....when I went to Elsinore....( first time at a BIG DZ) when we got to the parking lot at 3:00 am I ended up throwing up, and then that mornig I lightened my fall rate 3 times (if ya know what I mean ) before my first jumps. And I was only 3 weeks out from the last jjump jason

When I jumped my first pack job I asked the girl who watched me pack if she would jump the job I did!!! She reply was...hey.......just remember whee your handles are!!

My first time was a tandem out of a 182 at my current home DZ. I was kinda nervous but not bad when I got there. My dad is a pilot and I'd gone fliying with him a lot so I figured this shouldnt be to bad. Si we get geared up after the little class go out to the plane and take off!!! Man this is nothing....just like back home with my dad!!!.......THEN the vidoe guy says hes going to tak a peek!!! opens the door about 8 in and then shuts it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Extreme panic sets in. A few second s later he yells door and swoosh!!!!!!!! the door pops open, he crawls out and now I'm thinking this is crazy!!!!!! My TM asks if I'm ready and I nod my head and swing my legs out the door. Now when we were on the ground practicing our exit he made it sound as if I would be sitting on the floor during exit,,BUT up at alt he actually pusshed me out so I was just hanging in the air ( you can clearly make out the words OH SHIT from my mouth) which freaked me out......... READY SET GOOOO..........I thought for a split second I went to early without him but as second I left that plane it was the coolest thing ever!!!!!!!!!! At the time my wife was 8months pregnat with my little girl and we just got a house so I knew this wasnt going to happen soon but I knew I wanted to do this as a sport!!!!!!! TWo years later and a lot of saving my money I'm a skydiver!!!!!!! jason

Well with the loan for my rig + jumps I spend about $300 a month to jump. THat usaully gets me about 8 jumps a month! I know it isnt much but its better thatn not jumping. And once I get my loan paid off theres more money and jumps, but I do have a wife and kid and one on the way to think about to!! But I'm still young and just starting out so I imagine things will pick up as I progress!!!

I'm not saying anything bad about your DZ but thats just seems way over priced. At our DZ the caoch is about teaching someone to fly ...not bout trying to make a buck . I'm sorry , I forgot to add in the jump ticket price to ...so for me at my DZ if I was renting it would be 68$ total ( ....14$lift tick, 20$ coach, 34$ rental). For you (if this is the way your DZ works) it would be 20$ lift tick, 25$ rental and then yes 20-30$ coach (if thats what they charge). So between 65-75$ total .!!!! jason

I would say Base price for coach to be around 20-30$. Thats without rental mind you!!! At our DZ a couch jump is 20$, however if you have to rent gear its 54$ (20$coach, 34$rental) so it will vary from DZ to DZ!!!!! jason

Yeah I gotta agree with DON here....I dont care whhat any of you say it is a fact that DRUGS are not good for you. Maybe in specail medical casese under a controlled enviremnet but other than tht there is no debate. you may have an opionion that coke and herion , what ever can be good in its what ever form but come on people your not that dumb are you. Dont try to tell me that doing any kind of drug is benifcail to your boidy Unless it is a very specail case like I mentioned before!!! Am I saying dont do drugs.....no ....do what you want ...And when it comes to alcohol...studies have show that a glass of wine or an 8 oz beer is actually good for the body!!!!! So put your drugs away and lets just have a beer!! jason
