The only joke/comment I had made to me was when I was going to jump my first unsuperveised pack job. I asked the girl who should me how to pack if she would feel safe jumping the pack job! She kinda shook her head and said " just know where your handles are"!! Yeah I wasnt nervous on that jump or anything jason

I have slinks on my canopy and I think there great!!!!! My DZ sells them for 25$ but my DZO said that he has a box full of them and just give them away if needed. So check to see if your DZ have any laying around. There not to complicated to install but I would have a rigger go throught it with you the first time!! I recomend them but then again who am I jason

WOW the chicken pox!!!! I havnet heard anyone having that for a while. Sorry to your sick but like everyone else said that could be bad for adults so its good that your not havign any complications right now. Hope ya feel better soon! jason

Sorry to hear that but being a family man myslef I understand the diff commitments you have to take to be in this sport. ANd who knows,,,,someday that teenage girl of yours is going to be all grown up and moved out to school or married or something and then maybe you can get back into it. Hell once or twice a month is better than nothing. Godd luck with everything jason

Thanks for all the great info!! I'm sure I'll have more than enough things to play with for a LOOOOOONG time with this new canopy. Now if only the DZ would open and the canopy was here !!! jason

WOW...thats a huge statement in my eyes...I mean you do what you gotta do ..but for me I had the same instructor the whole time and maybe I was nieve but Honestly trusted him with my life. I mean I knew things could/can go wrong but I trusted he would do everything in his power to get me to the ground safltly if something went wrong. Now did I trust he could do anything to save me...no.. but I trusted he would do everything he could!!! jason

Funny yo should say that.... I went out once to pick up a jumper off DZ that said he couldnt get his slider to collapse and then he lost the airport and couldnt make it back. Yes the most important part was that he landed saftly but then this should have NEVER happened because he was close enough to the AP to make it back. Just not paying attention. I know my proceedures are deploy, check canopy (square, straight , sliderdown), clear, traffic, find airport, collapse slider, realease brakes (depending on if I'm way out), have some fun. It seems like a lot but it all happens in under a minute!!! jason

I myself (69 jump wonder) prefer the FX 88. Those 2 extra feet on the crossfire just slow me down way tooo much. I mean what kinda swoop ya going to get outa of a 90!!!! KIDDING ....JUST KIDDING

Yeah most bars out here you have to be a member or pay like 5$ to get into. Its kinda bullshit but what you going to do? The mix drink thing I dont know about. However I was at a local resturant once and ordered a mixed drink and then ordered a beer and when the waitress brought it out she said she couldnt set it on the table until the mix drink was gone so I had to slam it to get my beer. Some thing about only being able to have a certain % of alcohl in front of you. Then at another resturant [cough]applebees[cough] if you want to drink at the bar you HAVE to order an appitizer or something to eat!!! jason

Gee lets see ...it was beuatifull all weekend in UTah and waht did I do skydiving related???/ Watched our vidoes we finally got from our elsinore trip and play EXTREME SKYDIVING!!!! can you feel my excited ment!!!! stupid olympics...But I did get to see HEUY LEWIS AND THE NEWS for free !!! We have all kinds of free concerts going on!!! so that was cool......I guess!! jason

GOOD POINT! My first couple jumps with this canopy I plan on Hopn Pops.. I jump at a 182 DZ so I can get out all by myself while everyone else goes up to 10,000. Plus the most we may have out at once is 5 form the 206 so there is traffic but not like 15 to 23 at once!! jason

ANd does that mean if you snap hard to the right it could twist up on you easier??? See thats what I love to do now is buury one toggle go just go like hell towards the earth, but I havnet ever sanpped the other way. I let the canopy come out of its turn and then snap it. But my finals are only 45 to 90 degree approaches and even those are still a little high!! jason

Do you mean if I'm turning left...lean at my from my waist to the left?? Also will it make my final approach alot faster? Sorry for all the ??? But my DZ is closed and I have no one else to ask right now! jason
