I havent really run into any SKygods myself But I have ran into attitudes. One thing I dont like is when I ask an experianced jumper a question and get some smart ass remark.and then get laughs from the Peanut gallery!! jason

I know I'm going to get flamed for this , but I want to push the envelope!!!!! I mean thats why I took up this sport. I want to keep getting better and better at this sport which means in some cases you have to push the envelope. I want to learn to swoop!!! Am I ready now HELL NO!!!! but eventually I will be and I'll have to uup the stakes to learn. But this is me and what I choose. Nobody gets any good at anything by NOT pushing the envelope. Look at Freeflying. If someone didnt take the chace of learning a new technique of flying it wouldnt be here today. Crew, sky surfing, blade running , Ect it was all started by someone pushing the envelope. Going from a 200sq/ft canopies to 46sqft!!! I'm sorry but if I'm not pushing myself IN A SAFE MANNER THAT IS, then TO ME I'm not learning !!! jason

I think a little of the problem is the " this cant/wnot happen to me" attitude! Unfortunatly it CAN. and I'm sure people who have had tramitising experiances be it jumping or anything have had that saying go through there head. I know I have. I done stupid things in my life were I've said "oh I'll be ok , its not going to happen to me." Luckliy nothing has yet but it only takes that one time. A little respect for what your are doing/trying will go a long way. However accidents will happen and the beast we can do is learn from them.!! jason

. Good Idea. I nerver thought of that. I usaully just tuck them back into place if they've come out a little when I'm stowing the risers away in the conatiner. I guess if you plan on keeping the canopy a while it wouldnt hurt. But then could putting a tc on the riserscause any weakness iin the materail or cause a weak spot . Theres a let of tension on that piont of the risers isnt there!! jason
