I too use it to put small rubber bands on, other than that and for the closeing loop thats about it....I have my own mat that was made with snap straps to go around my risers when packing!! (they also work good for shoe laces).....

Mr. Booth....Great post there however I'm not sure if you ever covered this but what are your opinoins or impression on the "Bungi " set up....I jump with a bungi and havnt had any problems so far. Just wondering what your feelings are on them!! jason -
I have tubstows for my 4 bands that close the canopy and the rest are rubber bands......No piticular reason its just how the bag came to me and I havnt had any problems yet....!! jason

Yea but remember wingy if your chow hall is set up like ours was you can eat 5 meals a day for FREE!! And pay nothing for living costs!! The only bills you have or at Least I had in the military are the ones you create....not ones you have to pay.....except for your life ins thats what like 13.00$ !!!!! Now if your married then its a whole diff story. jason

A while ago there was some posts about Synergy and HMA lines and how they where prone to breaking. Well I have a friend at our DZ that had just bought one Brand new, Synergy 210 loaded at 1.19 to 1....... Well 17 jumps later on his chute and SNAP....... Steering line broke on opening!! Not trying to spark any good or bad vibes with anyone....just stating some facts that occoured!! jason

First time under a Crossfire 169 after flying a pd 170 doing a toggle turn about 180degrees form 300ft.......yeah not too bad for you swoopers but for me it wasnt a pretty landing!! jason

Thats some wild shit!!!! I think I did something like that once ,,,came in , flared,,,,,reached to the right (oops),,,,90 degree turn from like 5 feet....then BAAMMMM!!! OUCH!!! The sad thing it was under a PD 170 jason

I have about 10 jumps on my new hornet 150 and the noly problem I had was that I started learning to do 90 degree riser approaches and the chute would start bucking...I had my DZO fly it and he agreed although he said it didnt want to collaspe so that was good and to let out my breaks...so I lete them out 3 inches and now it turns sooo smooth with the risers......( when pulling on the front risers it was also pulling the tail....brakes where a little too short)!! Now when i come in I do a "2 stage flare" where I'll start the flare about 5 to 6 feet off the ground and lvel out and then finish the flare out at the very end....I 've always gotten tip toe runs outs form this canopy!!! (excpeted the time I reached) DOH!!! I really love the way you can make it surf in ( ok so Myabe I can only get about 15 to 20ft of surf right now but thats a lot for me
