I spent 3000$ in one day skydiving.......Ok ok so it includes some minor things like a new rig, alt, jumpsuit, and some jumping!!....... But honsetly I usauly spend about 150 a month which can get me up about 11 jumps!! But hey with a new mortauge , wife , two kids,,(one brand new) thats not too bad for me.....at least I can jump!!! I know one guy at our DZ that jumps about twicw a month.......so I cant complain!! jason

ITS A BOY!!!!! we had our second kid born may 18th.....7lbs 10 oz!!!! I know its a little late posting but I havnet been online hardly at all the last coouple weeks!! (DAMN WORK)........anyway all is good and everyones healthy!!! Now I have two packiers to train!!! jason

I know a couple of peole that juump a hurricane and havnet had aany problems.......however I think the internal pocket is the way to go....blocks out the noise of the air and is really clear plus when you BIFF it ( which happened not to long ago) it saves you 200 $ and some odd dollars of haveing to buy a new audible cause the one on the outstide of your head got smashed!!....but just my .02!

I too have had really nice and long openings!!! I know the pack volume in hornets is smaller....for instance pack vol on my pd170 was lkke 416 and a HOR 170 is like 375......my HOR 150 is 335!!! Love this canopy...sorry cant compare to a TRI...never jumped one!! jason

First off I too am sorry to hear bout your loss......I've never lost any imedaite family so I cantt say I know the feeling ..but I am sorryy.. And second I have to agree with Frank!!! I mean I can understand if you paid your $$ and then said "Well I just want to do it anymore" then yes its tuff luck for you.....but in a situation where you have no control over it being a bad shoulder..thats not your fault!!!! I think under those conditions ESPECAILLY with a Doc's orders NOT to jump they should make an exception.....but I guess that would be cool if they can change it to regular jumps!!!! or maybe even a good down payment on a RIG from them !! Anyway good luck with what ever you choose! jason

So I tried my first front riser swoop the other weekend... Ok so I started the turn a little low.....but I knew that so I was ready to anticipate it and still came out of the carve in time and set up for a really good surf but one thing I didnt anticipate was the speed at which the canopy flies!!!!!! HOLY SHIT!!!! as soon as I came out of the turn I felt really good that I didnt burn it in but then I couldnt handle the speed !!!! Long story short I surfed about 30ft and then CRASH!!! four flips off the ground later I was thinking what the hell was I thinking......... So how do fly a canopy in that fast...I mean are the inputs lighter at those speeds or what .....I think I gave too much to the right to compensate and that caused me to go sideways and crash....but how much input is needed when surfing to keep the canopy straight and level!??? jason

I propack my hornet 150 and just tuck the nose in the center cell.... Plus by "cigar rolling " the shit at the top of the pack job before you S fold it when its laid out ,, makes (I think) it just as easy to get it in the bag as the pyscho pack!!! jason

When I was 17 i was at a freinds house and they were playing with a quigi (SP) board...they said they were trying to get a hold off this "red beard " ghost who was supposedly a bad dude!!.....Well after so many attempts I didnt see anything and called the whole thing Bullshit and started shootin my mouth saying this red beard is a bunch of crap and I told them I was going inside the house ....they then said "no you cant leave until you wipe the boasrd clean or else he can still fuck with you.... well my 17 year odl responce to that was of coarse "F$CK YOU RED BEARD!!! So later when I was driving me and my girlfriend home we were involed in a fatal car accident.......so you tell me....coencidence (sp) ??? who knows... I mean I know that what happened was jsut a terrible accident and has nothing to do with the proceedings of the nights early events ....but to this day I wont touch one of those boards! jason

Oh Come on people SLC isnt that bad and I'm not even mormon!!! I jump up at Ogden skydive center at the ogden/hinckley airport which is about 30miles north of SLC..... however we'er only open thru-sunday!! DOH but skydive slc in tooele is open tue-sunday so you can probaly get a jump there!! Hey Lew PM me if you have any questions aabout the area. THeres lots of bars here but there all like privatley owned and you have to pay a F$CKING coveer to get in.....plus they all shut down at like 1:00am.........But when you get in let me know....the "PORTICAL" is a really cool bar in downtown!!!!!!! jason

I have about 15 jumps on my NEW hornet 150 and they all openn very slow about 800ft and very soft for me!!! I really love this canopy......I did however have one slammer but it was my fault....I didnt do anything with the slider...just left it hanging there...LESSONED LEARNED........But if you think about it no canopy is not suseptible to a hard opening!! it happens every once in a while and judging by what others and I have said its usaully packing eerror!! jason

I sold a canopy to someone here on DZ .com via COD and there where NO problems!! Especailly when you can track everything over the internet through the carriers web site!!! If I eever sell again I'll use COD!! jason
