I fly a Hornet 150 @ 1.2!!! and I love this canopy ..the opening have always been awsome, on heading and it flies great..and like was mentioned above you can either set it down tip toe or surf it in ( of coarse I'm still learning that part but its been very forgiving where things could of gotten worse!! A lot of poeple say great canopy for the price but I say a great canopy PERIOD.....I know people with 1200$ canopies and up that dont like them ...its not jsut the price that makes a canopy good its the quality and PISA has a great quality canopy !!! I'm not going to name drop but I was personally told by a manufacture..." I got into a habit of pushing my risers out on deployment...not grabbing them , but jsut giving a little (key word "little") push to the outside to keep from any twisting, and ever since then I've had GREAT on heading openings!! jason Freedom of speech includes volume

I dont set my brakes when I land ..I attach them to the risers by the velcro just to keep them out of the way , but not set.....I pack my own anyway so I jsut assume do it as part of the whole packing rutine! jason Freedom of speech includes volume

Now I'm not recommending doing this ...but when I first started packinf a ZP I couldnt get it in the bag either ...one time I got it "S" folded and half way in when it all came out...I got pissed picked the whole "mess" up and threw it down on the ground....one of our packers came over to see what the problem was ....and then asked if I wanted him to get it in the bag ..I said sure ..but I jsut threw the it down all pissed of..I need to repack it ...."no you dont " he replied....He then waded it all up ..made some kinda "S" fold and stuffed it in......needless to say I was nervous to jump it but it was one of the softess openings I ever had!!!!! jason Freedom of speech includes volume

Our DZ is kinda in the city so there is a lot of reflection from Ambient(sp)(is that the word I'm looking for?) light...I mean we practically glowed up there..so I dint know if this made the diff in being able to go with no moon....however a DZ in the outskirts without all the lights would probably make a difference.....am I right in this thinking!!??? jason Freedom of speech includes volume

I made my FIRST!! (yeah I know...BEER) night jump a couple weeks ago and I felt like it was my first skydive ....but once we got out.(we did a three way exit and turned 360s and got a couple points and then just flew together till breakk off) it was great...we went with NO moon out and it was AMAZING how bright it was and how easy it was to see everyone!...Basically I worried over nothing...and then your canopy lights right up too so you can see if if all good...we wore chest alts w/ lights so they lit up great...and the canopy ride was AWSOME!!!! just make nice easy and slow turns and look for other strobes!! We also planned a higher break at 5000ft to insure good seperation for deployment..!!!!! I jumped with a bungee for like 70 jumps and had NO problems what so ever...even with HOPNPOPS remeber when you leave the plane your traveling about 80mph...however I did get a Kill with my new canopy and I could tella slight difference in deployment....so I'd say jump the bungee but maybe put away a little to save for a kill!!! just my .02 jason Freedom of speech includes volume
