This happened to me at elsinore were I got in the plane , was sitting along the back and a girl told me to either put my helmut on or fasten it... hell.. she was polite and nice about and it was no big deal .. i said even said thanks... Things are only a big deal if you make them that!! Just correct your mistakes thank the person that reminded you and jump on!! -

I actaully did #9 jsut the other week...hop and pop and was given the ok to go..climbed out on the strut facing the back so I didnt see what was ahead of me...next thing I know nothing but white all around ...so ..I jumped ....AWSOME feeling but I dont condone it!! ...I later found out that what happened by talking to the pilot is that he put me a a good spot to avoid the cloud however when I climbed out I wanted to make my spot longer so I stayed on the wing a little longer...at that point I couldnt see the cloud ahead of me ... so there is no one to blame but myself...the pilot called a perfect spot...I decided to wait outside the A/C ...again bad call on my part ...but HOLY SHIT WHAT AN AWSOMW SENSATION!!!(sp) jason Freedom of speech includes volume -

Yes you are correct in that alcohol is worse but in the same sence I dare you or anyone to call drunk driving a victimless crime and be sincere about it!!! I just have to chime in here but theres one thing i dont understand...all these people and students protesting the war using there "right to freedom of speech"..... WERE THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU GOT IT FROM..... For me cocking the PC is just like setting the brakes or inserting the closing pin...I dont think the answer is taking it away form larger canopy pilots but just PAYING ATTENTION TO DETAIL!!!! Do you pack w/out flaking, pack w/out seperating the line sets.. pack w/out stoewing your lines....I have a set routine I follow when packing and it ALWAYS includes cocking after I lay down the pack job...A little more effort in paying attention will resolve this error..... jason Freedom of speech includes volume

I have a Talon 2 DOM 2001 and have had ZERO problems free flying or attemting to free fly with it...I pack it with only 1/4 to 1/2 in bridle exposed and have never had any thing come out ..and believee you me I've had my fari share of tumbles in the sky No velcro ...everything tucs in ...now I've heard some people complin about the walrus teethe but if you slide them in form the sides and not bend them in they hold up awsome!!! jsut as good as anything else in my opinion......hell if you own the state of the art super FF container and treat it like shit it will perform like shit ....... jason ...jsut my .02 Freedom of speech includes volume
