I've jumped my reserve outa date ....and I know a LOT of other jumpers do to....Its not like once your reserve goes outa date its garbage I mean we pack ours every 120 days where other palces every I think 180 so as far as your reserve physically being ok ..it should be ...I mean a reserve can fail after two days of a repack or work 130 days after.... but its still good to be on top of it!! as for what would happen to you I can only speak for my DZ...they'd tell you jsut get it in for the repack as soon as you can... there not going to beat you or chastize you but instead remind you to get it in and they may say ok you jumped it today but we need to repack it before you jump again!! No problem!! Let me add that I'm not condoning jumping an out of date rig I'm just saying it happens...I jumped mine and realized it was out and just took it in for the repack!! I ALWAYS pack mine just because I'm anal and know EXACTlY how I want it!! Dont busineses have the right to refuse service to anyone??? I think if it were me I'd tell him he CANT jump !! If I owned a business and someone came up to me and said I'll try your "what ever I'm offering or selling" but if anything happens I'll sue..then I would refuse to do business with and explain to then "look there is a risk and if your not willing to except that then I 'm sorry but I wont accept your business!! jason Freedom of speech includes volume

Hornet 150 loaded 1.18 ...I'd land it with risers!! First of all like dave said you have a landable main..and thats why we'er suppose to practice those things like good riser control...also for me one queswtion I ALWAYS (and dont ask me why) I ask right at wave off is "would I want to chop here"... I mean if I'm over the highway or off airport I dont want to chop that main and possibly loss it and the free bag...now dont get me wrong I dont care where I'm at if its bad its gone but I just always ask myself that ,... and then theres times Im over the fields or airport and I'll say to myself "yeah I'd chop here"!! All I know is that I've heard it take 2mill$ to make million $ DZ!!...coarse I dont think thats true..my DZO started his with a 182 and a BIG shade tree!! 10 yrs (or so) later he has the 182, 206, and a Caravan in the nicest hanger with all facilites in the state!! YEP!! I'm here in Utah!!! If you want to be close to salt lake then there is a DZ in toole which is about 20 miles west of salt lake ...and then thens skydive ogden which is about 30 miles north of salt lake!! I jump at ogden and wingnut jumps at skydive salt lake!!! they are both good DZS however I will be biased and say COME TO OGDEN!!!..( AWSOME FACILITES AND GREAT PEOPLE!!)...anyway give me hollar when you get in...!!! jason Freedom of speech includes volume

I know its been beat to death in many a threads but "Big UP" to all you going through static coarse.......man it just seems less hazardous going through AFF...Just seems like to more shit can go wrong staticaly than deployment in freefall....I mean yeah you can have your "normal mals in both but I havnet ever worried about flipping through line or not being presented to the relative air...ect....please dont flame me ..I know theres dangers with both but it just seems you here more bad juju form students going static rather than AFF about getting tangled in your canopy or bridle !!!!! jason Freedom of speech includes volume
