A guy on a country road slows at an intersection, sees no traffic and rolls through the stop sign. There's a freakin trooper he didn't see on the other corner and he gets pulled over. License and registration says the trooper. Why? Cause you didn't stop at that stop sign. License and reg, please. But I slowed down. You didn't stop. Give me your license and registration, sir. What's the difference? Sir. Stop means stop, not slow. Give me your license and registration, now, please. Oh, c'mon. What's the big difference between slowing down and stopping? Step out of the car, sir. When the guy gets out of the car the trooper beats him to the ground with his baton, and methodically continues to hit him. "Sir?" says the trooper "Do you want me to stop, or slow down?"

24 max steady. Gusts must be below 10 mph over the steady. Worst case, 15 gusting to 24. Never with a camera, always with gloves. If the smart skydivers ( I am am moh-ron, remember) are off, I'm off too.

I had a Katana 1100 for 12 years. I was really tempted to put the turbo on it, but decided to finally get a new bike instead. Just traded up to a 2002 BMW K1200rs. 130 HP, telelever, shaft, fuel injection, electronic cruise control, and the most very bestest of all HEATED GRIPS. OMG heated grips are the most astounding thing ever on a motorcycle. Warm hands on cold days. Yeah, it's heavy, but it's faster than ice on hot glass.

The last "purple suit" (haven't heard that since ROTC) plane was the F-4 phantom, right? Betcha a dollar to a doughnut that if the Army had the ability to maintain the A-10, they would. The only zoomies that give a sh*t about Close Air Support are Marine zoomies. Everybody wants supersonic capability. It's a shame, cause the current crop of problem children dictators have lots of old tanks that need to be busted. They gotta put a gatling on a drone. Drones don't care they can't go supersonic.

I'm 6' 180. I was dying trying to get cranked right on the light ones. The faster the better for me. I have that feeling like the light bulb is going to go on really soon on one of these jumps and I'm going to have that "OH! That's what they're talking about!" feeling. I'm working harder than I should, and I know it's because there's some critical part of this I haven't figured out yet.

Or heck, how many points to we need to turn for he 4 way record? (Freeflyers: points is what RW people call grabbin on to the weird tubes on their suits on purpose)

I agree, Phree. For over-the-top anything I think zero is probably best. I'll see here pretty quick. I figure I've traded cranking my neck back on tandems for burying my chin in my chest on four-way, etc. I'm concentrating on tandems now, so that's a fair trade, I think.

My rigger thought the reserve was packed too high, I had it repacked and it was still a problem. If it's coming undone, send it back at repack time to get fixed.

I had the same problem and had to send mine back to have it re-cut to fit properly. It's great now. Wait until the reserve needs to be repacked and ship it to Florida. They'll fix it within a week, send it back, and it'll have a fresh reserve repack and that will pay for the shipping
