Skydive Arizona Dropzone.com 2nd Annual Holiday Boogie
Deuce replied to sangiro's topic in The Bonfire
Gimperello, Gimperetta.Gimperambo all crossed my mind. The Gimperretta one would have required a white bird and a murder plot. Gimperello sounds too much like a mild cigar. Gimperambo could work, but he has to bring ordnance to the Holiday boogie to get that one to stick. Gimpster might have legs.... -
I had been designated a keeper by the time this went off.

Once upon a time Deuce downsized and tried to suirt both his tib's out his ass learning a hard lesson. He was unbroken, but gimpy. This occurred one month before the Eloy Holiday Boogie '02. Deuce had recovered pretty good, and on his first jump at Eloy went for a 4 way with BigBen, Cornholio, and his new best freind, Mouth. It was fun, and we almost made a single point. Deuce's super neato Spectre 150 opened and flew spectacularly toward the secondary landing area at Eloy. That landing area is 1500 feet higher than Deuce's regular landing area, upon realizing his ground speed was 973 miles per hour he had to run his landing out, tearing all that newly healed muscle and cartilage to shit. Deuce borrowed a knee brace from AggiDave and took a handful of 800 mg motrins and some tramadol. Everything was wonderful. And then the free beer made itself known, and the combination of comaraderie, painkillers, fatigue, and beer made for epic drunken wanderings. The best was through the band. Thus "Where's Deuce?" "Over there, surfing through the band" "Oh" -mostly I am just poking fun at the firewalkers.

I am feeling amazingly powerful right at this moment.... Ah. -there it went -
I'll be showing up this year without pain meds to mix with unlimited alcohol, so I'm concerned about the swells. It's usually that combination that gets the surf up early and breaking sweetly. I'll be paddling out about an hour after the beer light comes on, and looking for breakers.

I love it when moral crusaders are exposed for their true colors.

No, really, I think putting a bumper sticker on a Mercedes Convertible that says "Bush is a Retard, let's kick him into the corner until he shits himself" actually would get him an ethanol pass. I am not remembering the sticker correctly. It may simply say "Bush, nyah-nyah!" I am just very impressed that it's right on the paint. That's political commitment. -
Contemplating a tattoo, how do you find a good artist?
Deuce replied to SkydiveNFlorida's topic in The Bonfire
This is the place that did mine, Cecelia is the artist. Know what you want ahead of time, and find someone who can design it for you. I showed her some artwork to indicate what I wanted, and she did a first draft, I made some corrections, and she put it in. http://www.momsbodyshop.com/index2.html -

Look back a bit, Gimpster, BB gave a mailing address. She's the queen of sweetness. -

Dang! Having been on the recieving end of many-a-Holder insult, I was truly looking forward to witnessing one. BillV, you'd get along great with GH, he's got a sticker on his Mercedes coupe that says something like "Bush, the other-other white meat", or something. -

That may well be true. And you quoted a good example. My position is that it's just a little early to be gathering rocks, let alone throwing them. -

Look, I'm a libertarian on the drug thing. But his position that drug addicts are a drain is consistant and is libertarian. If drugs were made legal, drug users should have to pay insurance against their risk of addiction. Not a problem for rich drug addicts. There are a couple of 18 year old kids at my DZ who are on the fast-track to drug addiction. The combination of being around older hipsters who use recreational drugs, the availability of booze, has these kids soon to be consuming state resources through a DUI or worse. I predict credit card fraud on their unsuspecting parents, cause these kids were pretty squeaky when they showed up, and like I said they are on the fast track. An adult who abuses prescription drugs is a different animal. Especially one who can pay for any damage that he does with his own money. I'm starting to kick around this dead Opossum, so I'll get out of here. -

But Bill, heaven forbid, you have articulated much great information about canopy control and landing. Me and many others have really benefitted from it. If you demo some hot canopy and get behind the curve and crash, I don't think that makes you a hypocrite. I think it would mean you made a mistake. Maybe you failed to follow your own advice. This issue, of "only those completely without sin can throw stones" is utter bullshit. It's one of the central problems in patenting today. A patent tells his kids "don't steal". We can all agree that theft is wrong, can't we? The child responds "have you ever stolen?" the parent says "Uh, why, yes". "Then you are in no position to tell me not to, are you?" and PARENTS ACTUALLY BUY IN TO THIS SHIT! Are only guys who have been perfectly monogomous in their relationships permitted to advocate monogamy? The revulsion that many folks have for people of Limbaugh's stripe is obscene. I truly beleive that he'd be strung up on a lampost by the mob that was at the world bank meeting in Seattle a couple of years ago. How much damage is cause at a Promise Keeper's convention? How much does that group point and sneer at the failings of others? -

Then, my man, you are what you despise. Rush advocates his positions. Folks like you fear him because he resonates with so many. You would have marijuana available in some manner similar to beer. That's not just a political idea, it's something that will change culture. It seems clear that if you were put in charge, you would not simply put your agenda in place, you would hold your opponents by the neck and shove their noses in your victory. Even if my enemy stumbles and falls in the mud, I will not point at him, and point him out to others and encourage his ridicule. Why not display some dignity in what you percieve to be a victory? The guy went deaf as an adult. Maybe that's why he developed an addiction. It's his money. That seems to be pretty consistent in Limbaugh's positions, he doesn't care much what people do so long as taxpayers don't have to pay. I'll be more disappointed if a guy with that kind of money, and a jet, needed to score painkillers off his maid. With his NFL connections, I think there would have been a safer way. My beef with all this is it's like the guy who rips everybody a new asshole for flying their canopies in an unsafe manner fucking up himself and tib-fibbing both legs in a failed swoop. The man has been proven a hypocrite, so you run over and kick dirt on him and revile him? I judge that response to be wrong. -

Why the joy in anybody's downfall? If in fact this is the bellweather for the end of Rush. -

Nice, research, Philly! Heck, no need for a search warrant, investigation, or trial! So what's your sentence? You being judge, jury, and executioner? Just curious. Please don't get mad and come condemn me on an unfounded accusation. Please. Edit: I should apologize, your source is the National Enquirer, that bastion of well-sourced hard journalism. -
I've got 19 years of solo jumps on my spouse, and it's rewarding as hell. Truth: Past behaviour predicts future behaviour. If you enjoy the nasty now, you will be enjoying the nasty for years to come. LISTEN!: Kissing lasts. You can always go out to dinner for somebody elses cooking, and it will be great. When you go out and pay for somebody else's kisses, you feel like a cheap peice of shit. (I've been the eyewitness to this a few times) good for you! Find a fun and unusual place to re-consummate your vows.

http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=567824;search_string=Diamond;#567824 The diamond does not vignette while being used in video. It does a little when used for stills. I have the .3 and the .5 . They are the best. The Australian one, the "red" whatever, is also effective. Higgy has that one.

Yeah, I'd pay serious money to see ballet on the TallGuy-Amazon scale! Ah Jeanne! I'm cracking up! I'd love to see you walk out of the wings in a tutu, hands on hips, glaring at the little wussies. "C'mon Ivan! Freaking throw me!"

The subject really wants me to put them on my shutterfly site. I can notify folks that nudity is in the album. I have no problem with the nudity, and frankly enjoyed Kellicopter's confidence. Plus she actually looked good in freefall and on the ground. So. Am I pandering to post them to a place where they can be bought, even though Kelli has no problem with them. She actually celebrates them? Feedback. Those of you I asked up-front, thank your for your replies. Your replies hold the most value to me. JP
