I was able to get docks with an experienced flier my first time out on a GTi. (I have over 500 camera wingsuit jumps) I enjoyed every one of my flights with it. If I had owned it, there was a lot of room to tweak my performance in flying it. But since I was going to buy one, I got the SF3. I will fly the suit at least once every week, so I opted for the high performance. Tallguy jumps at my DZ, and with his build and him in an SF3, there's almost no way I was going to keep up with him in anything less without him flying really dirty. We both want to max our performance, so I got the SF3. DeBar has one ordered too, so we should be pushing the envelope together as we learn. Look at your flocking partners, if they are all in Classics and GTi's you won't be pushing your SF3. -Big talk for a guy with no jumps on an SF3, but I went through the same decision process.

I just quit my job and I'll be starting a career in real estate. My research showed me that there is no money in part-time real-estate. Car dealerships need more staff on the weekends, and you might be able to get on doing that. It's a different kind of thing, cause any money breaks you give to the customer come right off YOUR commission, not the sales manager's or the dealer's. I think a better part-time choice is car sales.

I go to Church just about every weekend, my kids go to parochial school, yada, yada. I have also enjoy taking pictures of big naked skydives and being on topless beaches in Europe. I kind of expect to meet God someday, and have him say "JP, do you remember looking at the naked woman at sunset when you were in Tahiti with your wife?" And I'll reply "Hell, yes, God. That was some nice work!" Some people are naturally at war with their natures. They are people who see something different than people who are not at war with their natures. I will see a 18th century sailing ship and think "Golly, the knowledge of ropes and knots those guys had!" and another person will think of new ways to conduct autoerotic asphyxiation. So, some folks can't resist temptation, and your pictures cause them pain. Like a recovering alcoholic around a tapped keg. I try to be understanding of such folks, and socialize with them in environments they are comfortable in. As to organized religion, the statistics say we live longer, healthier, wealthier lives, and our kids get into less trouble both in childhood and as adults. So even if there is no God, I've got that going for me.

Those of you that are coming, make sure to get me, or Iwan (VDSchoor) on one of your jumps so you are in the video. Another way is to do a coached jump with Omar or Gasson. If you are on the Airspeed 8-ways, I am your camera flier. If you are an acoustic instrument player, I am your surfer.

Dunno Michele, BTW I got my test date of December 8. I think I'd stick with the one you've got and see if it works. If somebody else gets the other one it's 3:1 they're out of the business in two years or less anyhow, right? Two LA-sized commissions to get square? I'd see how the one is doing first. Hoym, my instructions were specifically for the .3 Diamond. The multi-element lenses like my Kenko work on the infinity setting, but my .3 does not. The sports setting increases the frame rate, so slow motion appears smoother. It also freezes the prop motion, which looks much, much cooler than on auto. Experiment with this and tell me if you think I'm wrong. Video your plane with the props turning, and switch from the auto to the sports setting. I like it way better. As to the focus thing on the Diamonds, I don't know, but I don't forsee switching to anything else. Sports setting, manual, focus on the Coke machine 10 feet out, tape the focus ring. gogogo.
