Well, we did find SH in a hole in the ground... two meters by two meters. And I'd think more people would know about the location of any of the alleged WMD, of which there was supposedly plenty, than knew the location of Hussein. [touches nose] Precisely... Don't we already have people in custody who said they'd tell-all -including info about WMD- but only once they were positive that SH was either dead or captured? My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

At the end of the thread... there's a blue button "Jump to Forum" [snicker] My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

From Billvon's original post: I feel such.... shame! I will indeed buy beer for my DZ though... in my defence... I'm not a "newbie" and I was pretty sure I wasn't the "first" to tell the joke. Of all the crappy forwards I get in my emails, I always make a point to post the ones that make me laugh here in TalkBack... I like the thought that others like me are laughing with me.... Alas, I find they are laughing at me lol Nick p.s. Congrats to Lawnrocket! My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

No, we mustn't... Not for us to decide in the end anyhoo. If the Iraqi people get ahold of him, I don't think 'humane' will come into the equation. That's just what i was thinking... he'd be torn to pieces and paraded in the streets (in all directions at once too). If that were the case, I should actually like to see U.S. intervention. Think real hard about it... what does it make you to tourture the man... despite his crimes and sins? My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

This made me laugh out loud for real! hehee, thanks. Looks like he's gonna try that new 'passenger cutaway' system or something. lol. Didn't Bush Sr. make a jump sometime back? Got mobbed by his own guys upon landing? My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

If the reason the man must come to an end is his cruelty... does it make much sense to be cruel? End him. But I say end him humanely. Quietly and quickly. We must seperate ourselves, men from beasts. We must be civil. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

Hmmm, was there money at stake? 'Cause if there was, as soon as Ivan shows up here, I want my share of the winnings. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

Are you serious? Sorry dude, If it helps.. I too am trying to 'cut down' In keeping with the thread title: A good read hehee. Just the Canadian Government's way of ensuring Public safety. Even Santa, operating from within the Canadian territory, has to deal with check rides. Santa Claus, like all pilots, gets regular visits from Transport Canada (TC), and it was shortly before Christmas when the TC examiner arrived. In preparation, Santa had the elves wash the sled and bathe all the reindeer. Santa got his logbook out and made sure all his paperwork was in order. The examiner walked slowly around the sled. He checked the reindeer harnesses, the landing gear, and Rudolf's nose. He painstakingly reviewed Santa's weight and balance calculations for the sled's enormous payload. Finally, they were ready for the checkride. santa got in, fastened his seatbelt and shoulder harness, and checked the compass. Then the examiner hopped in carrying, to Santa's surprise, a shotgun. "What's that for?" asked Santa incredulously. The examiner winked and said, "I'm not supposed to tell you this, but you're gonna lose an engine on takeoff." My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

I used DZ.com classifieds when seeking my first rig. I decided to check out the rest of the site as was very pleased to find so many cool topics of discussion in the forums. I immediately created a profile and started posting. I was even more pleased, to find how hospitable you all were. I sign in in the morning from my desk at work... it keeps me sane in that I can still be among skydivers whilst bored out of my mind. I live in Ontario, skydiving is seasonal to most here in Canada... need I say more? I find the forums very educational. I lurk the skydive related threads any time I come up with a question and i usually find the answers I'm looking for... not quite? ask a question and people line up to share/provide their personal experience. That brings me to a certain thought on the "skydiving whuffos" posting here. I don't really care who posts here... so long as inexperienced people are not providing advice to others. That's one thing that should not be tolerated in the forums. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

Trial by the Iraquies would be nice. I care not what type of execution he receives. So long as it is humane. Whomever suggested he should be toured about Washington, I think that's a great Idea too. Perhaps parade him about a bit... give him a real image of the world he longed to destroy. Most important to me however, is that he be treated and executed as humanely as possible. We should display that we are better by not pelting him with rotten food whilst on display in the city stockade so to speak. Nick My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

Spot on. Whomever uses the "I could care less" is telling you that it's possible to diminish how much they care. They're the ones that said "eminemopeee" when they got to L, M, N, O, P... whilst signing the alphabet as children. It's supposed to be "I couldn't care less". Last post! I'm off for the weekend. Have a great, safe one everyone! Nick My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

[scratching head] Wut means that? [\scratching head] I put an apostrophe on a plural noun.. possessive-like. Ex: The bike belonging to the skydiver would be "The skydivers bike" but The Bike belonging to the skydivers would be "The skydivers' bike" Is that it? My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

Just seen instances of low timers going out Free Flying and covering large horizontal distances along the flightline, this gets compounded when head down, as they sometimes think they are head down when they are actually tracking on their backs. Oh I see. I'm on the same page now. I would present that there is no specific jump number... but you should not attempt Sit or HD unless you are aware enough to turn yourself 90 degrees to jumprun and hold it there. Or simply put, you should know your heading relative to 'flightline'.. knowing that more than likely, if you not down the pipe, your sliding forward or backwards. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

How come I can't see it? Even if I download it.. my media player gives me the sound but no picture... just "ambience water" My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

What makes a skydiver a skydiver? AKA be nice to the tandems
goose491 replied to Brian425's topic in The Bonfire
Wow Nick, 106 posts and no jumps??? tsk tsk. What's keepin' ya?!? lol, just kidding. Obviously, you'll find a plethera of non-skydiving discussion topics here... you don't need to have a thousand jumps to post. I have found this group very very welcoming, helpful and informative. Yet! Oh yeah! This is what I wanted to coment on. You'll find the people you meet in this sport are wonderfully hospitable... but one thing you will likely will run into is 'Newbie Blues' or "post-self-super blues". There have been a number of threads about it and a few pretty cool articles. Basically, after having finished your progression and you are cleared to jump solo, one may feel left out or even a little lonely in the sport. Everyone's got their own things goind on, people are jumping together... but nobody is doing anything with you. Don't be discouraged by this... it isin't really that 'eletist' mentality. It's more 'cause people don't know you yet... or don't know what you're into... or simply want you to have more jumps before they get into the air with you (which may seem eletist at first but... well, safety first! lol) You'll never find snobs at the bondfire. You'll never have problems seeking advice. You'll never find a lack of enthusiastic peole to talk to when the beer light comes on. I just wanted to post this as an early warning because of what you had said. Almost everyone has gone through it so you won't have any problems finding info and help. Developping your freefly skills, er I mean skills in the discipline of your choice will come with time and jumps and yadda yadda yadda... Nick My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
