Drat. And I searched...really I did. hehe, it was posted as a link though. My favorite part is how the pilot of the working chute has to hold you with one hand... and steer with the other. (maybe he's got a toggle in his mouth?) Or what about waiving your arms and pointing to your chute to signal the mal?(Firstly: Who happens to be that close to me at pull time? Didn't I track away? That's an excellent analogy. I'd shelf the gear too if I ran out of air... but I'm a certified scuba diver who is admitedly terrified of Scuba diving... petrified by the power of water (NO, not like wood ) If I had an AAD fire, I think I'd be cussing myself quite a bit! But I'd also be cussing that I had to wait until my reserve got repacked before I could jump again No AAD fire yet... but I've got "LOW PULL!!!" writen in my log book... early, near the begining. lol. I can't think of any reason the canopy wouldn't perform properly in rain.... Ice blocks? Hmmm. Hail? There really should be enough pressurisation to not have to worry. Shitty situation though... to be under canopy in a hailstrom Never experienced it... I've heard of people being caught in hail in free fall (OW!), so I guess they've had to deal with it under canopy. Btw, the general concencus for hail in freefall is to turn onto you back and let the rig take the punishment. Nick My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
