Sounds like you are very in tune with your body. There is no reason you shouldn't be able to breathe normally in freefall. However, remembering to breathe is another story. You hear coaches saying to students all the time "Remember, breathe!" Cudos that you are noticing it on your own. I voted for number of posts because, skydiver or whuffo, your 'title' in an internet forum is supposed to reflect just that. The threads show a comunity of sorts, your 'title' shows roughly how much you've contributed to this mini-society or how long you've been around. Thusly, it indicates how much your words would reflect the general flow/attitude or 'language' of the forum. Where I agree that it's problematic to have those with little experience handing out advice but you don't see that much of it around here and when you do, someone is always quick to post, correcting any misinformation and adding that that "so and so" should probably go out and experience what they are talking about before providing advice to strangers. I'll step forward with the most honnest answer. You're comparing apples and oranges here. Even the most shallow among us knows that personality is more important then looks for some sort of relationship... the "God, I'd like to hit that!" IS NOWHERE NEAR saying "God, I'd love to call that my girlfriend!" You have to learn that there is a difference. What does your friend who just returned say about how these prisonners are being proven guilty? Why does your friend think they are there and not yet executed? What does you cousin have to say about the certainty that they are guilty. What does the ol' cous' know about why there has not been a decision made as to what to do with them? What have you seen that proves beyond reasonable doubt that these detainees deserve to be imprisoned and given no contact with council or family? A video from the DOD? I don't read malice in your posts. The truth is I can't tell you what laws should apply. I do know in my heart, that these people are entitled to due process. I think even the most hard-core of people arguing the opposite, know in their hearts that this is true. I know it is rude to answer a question with a question but to paint a very real picture... Are you suggesting that this is a lawless situation? And furthermore, do you understand the implications of making it so?... in terms of human rights and morality? We as people will NEVER know who was in that camp. Does everyone understand that? Does everyone know what that means? My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

If you truly believe the heart of the Constitution is a set of guidelines for an elite club, and that the intention was really not "All men" but "All these men", than I am very sad for your lack of understanding. I hope the children in your schools are learning different. Tell me of the double standard then. Well the point made about Gitmo (and not yet addressed by those defending it) is that neither law is being respected here... Only GWBs law. We've got a name for that type of system... We've ALL fought agaisnt that type of system. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

Each human is entitled to freedom. However, nobody disagrees that if you murder your neighbor, that right is taken away as you are incarcerated. My friend, I agree with you whole-heartedly that many a human right is to be considered null and void in the face of a terrorist. What we've got here is a band of "Enemy Combatants" however and each and every one of them is entitled to certain things until it is proven that they are terrorists, criminals, soldier POWs or (gulp) none of the above. Failure to provide these humans their human rights is animalistic, there is no denying that. Execution for the terrorist, freedom for the innocent, torture and indefinite detention for the question marks? NO! I understand where it was focussed and it doesn't make a difference. I'm saying that All the things about America that make it a thing of beauty contradict the very notion of "Guilty by association"... The fact that people cannot be labeled and condemned without due process is at the very core of your constitution. Furthermore, saying that the American should have the right to council but the others shouldn't also violates what makes you special. The constitution is not about "All Americans being created equal" but about "All men being created equal". Let's not forget that. And let's not forget that a lot of this mess has to do solely with America policing the world, protecting the rights of NON-Americans all over this planet. Ask why we could invade Iraq for example, without proof of why we are doing it and you get "Sadam is an evil man, he was oppressing and gassing his people. The world is better and the Iraquis will be hapier without him.".... well, the Iraquis are clearly not Americans, yet we feel that their human rights should be protected no? I harbor a certain anti-Americanism within me for many reasons but I am not incapable of seeing the good that they provide to many. I'm not incapable of seeing how they could have their backs against the wall, having to do certain things.
