  1. Thanks man, but the coaches are still holding on to me... not quite solo yet. Hopefully within the next 4~ sessions with some great coaching and a little luck. *I am not afraid of dying... I am afraid of missing life.* ----Disclaimer: I don't know shit about skydiving.----
  2. Damn ... How bad did you suck? Haha ... I want to see your tunnel video! I only have 10 min on my belly, and it was before I started AFF. I now have about 90 min and I'm working on flying head-down. I'm not going to say that my first time was pretty but I've watched plenty of people that are new to the tunnel spend the majority of their time bouncing around. don't ask me to look good doing any back flying but my sit has progressed nicely over the past couple of sessions.
  3. In the grand scheme of things the terminology isn't really that big of a deal... and chances are the OP is not a truly bigoted racist... but why pass up the chance to call him/her one. *I am not afraid of dying... 4. Global warming hasn't stopped. The trouble with that name is that morons and charlatans then used local, transient cold spells as fodder for denial. So you think that there is NO WAY that "climate change" is simply a naturally occurring process??? ...and if it is, why should we be trying to stop it? If by chance man has contributed to "climate change", Mother Earth is it's own living ecosystem, capable of correcting it's self. Perhaps cooling, warming, rain, snow, wind, etc,... is all part of this correction and we should let it run its course. Should we try to stop the tectonic plates from shifting, hurricanes from forming, volcanoes from erupting, the oceans currents from changing....????? Something tells me we should just let these things occur. but then I guess liberals always know whats best for everyone.... including Mother Earth. *I am not afraid of dying... 5. You'll have a great time, but be prepared to be frustrated. The first time (or couple of times) you'll probably spend more time bouncing off the net and the walls than anything else. *I am not afraid of dying... 6. I agree with the, 'always play to win, and play like you mean it' mentality.

  9. Why is that? Funny thing also......just watched the video again and realized that is my DZ. They always put a tandem out first........but dont really know why they do. I guess it has always been that way. Yeah, some of my buddies said they always put a tandem out first... it's f'n stupid. They were told it is for spotting purposes. *I am not afraid of dying... 14. Is Beating Somebody In Girls Basketball 108-3 Unsportsmanlike Conduct? "It’s been called unsportsmanlike. It’s been called ugly. The question now is whether Christian Heritage (Utah) High, which routed West Ridge (Utah) Academy, 108-3, in a girls basketball game last week, actually did anything wrong by blowing out an overwhelmed opponent." http://boston.barstoolsports.com/random-thoughts/is-beating-somebody-in-girls-basketball-108-3-unsportsmanlike-conduct *I am not afraid of dying... 16. Not from there but I lived there for a while and have been back in CO for 3 years now... but still go back to NYC at least twice a year to see friends. I miss it a lot and still consider it home to some degree. Next trip planned for May!
  17. I actually agree... Ellis Island while not that impressive to see can be an emotional experience if you've had family members pass through there when 'coming to America'. SoL really isn't that more impressive from 5' than it is from Manhattan. The Staten Island ferry is also one of the only ways to see the Verrazano bridge as well. Agree... you almost have to just get lucky with the line. I wouldn't spend 3+ hours waiting in line... or maybe I would hmmm... *I am not afraid of dying... 18. No prob man... you guys will have a blast. *I am not afraid of dying... I am afraid of missing life.* ----Disclaimer: I don't know shit about skydiving.----
  19. We timed it for sundown, perfect time to be on top. We plan to do that with the Eiffel Tower next time too. Yeah!!! That's the way to do it. Same goes with the Brooklyn bridge. I recommend walking to the middle while there's still some day light, then going to the Brooklyn Ice Cream factory as the sun sets. It's a famous film spot under the bridge and pretty romantic if your with your girl. Then walk back across the bridge after it's dark and enjoy the view of the city, SoL, and down at all the other bridges on the East River. *I am not afraid of dying... I am afraid of missing life.* ----Disclaimer: I don't know shit about skydiving.----
  20. Chicago's cool... but it's not that cool. Go back to NYC, there is more to do there that you wouldn't have been able to do the first 4 days. I highly recommend walking across the Brooklyn bridge and getting ice cream at the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory. Go down to Coney Island, see the boardwalk, get some food and ride the Cylone. Go to Time Square 1 night. Your GF can go shopping in SoHo and it won't be to bad for you, SoHo is actually pretty cool. Don't spend more than an hour in China town it will drive you crazy. Have dinner at Vincent's in Little Italy . Go to MoMA. Go up into the Empire State building during the day, and night if time. Just walk the city.... it's the coolest city in the world. *I am not afraid of dying... I am afraid of missing life.* ----Disclaimer: I don't know shit about skydiving.----
  21. It would be interesting to test something like that. I think the ability to remain calm and collected even under the most extreme pressure is either something you got, or you don't. I'm sure they receive some type of stress management conditioning in the military for example. But if someone's been determined to be the type to freeze up under pressure they should probably just avoid anything that may put them in that position. *I am not afraid of dying...
