Hey I did a skydive for all my northern fun jumpers stuck inside. A wonderful 4 way beach jump at sunset. Wish you all could join me swooping the sand -

can you land a reserve any smaller with a couple broken arms, land it off airport? Think about it. Winsor ( a great candidate for BOD) has a low or sub 100 main and I believe a 218 reserve.

legal age for starting skydiving in USA
bodypilot90 replied to Unutsch's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
With tandems now being a part of normal skydiving the manufactures have no control. If you get your rating from the uspa then you'd be ok. Why it's 16 for everything but tandems and 18 for tandems is strange. Why the age thing is in a BSR is also strange. This is one reason we need to rid ourselves of the group member program and the "good old boys" on the bod. Vote for the fun jumpers candidates "Don, Mike, Jan, Winsor" -
Have you jumped your reserve?
bodypilot90 replied to bwilling's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I've got 2 reserve rides on the same size reserve, 1st one i hit the peas dead center and stand up. few weeks ago i had a 2ed on a pdr 160 stood it up. I also had a reserve ride on a swift 5 cell, going in prolly would have hurt less J/K but it wasn't a pd for sure. when it's your best last chance I'll always jump the best, PD reserves rock!!!! -
COLLEGIATES NEED HELP ASAP
bodypilot90 replied to thrillseek's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Contact the NSL, I'm sure they would have a lot of information for you. It's a little late if you're shooting for christmas, but how about spring break? I could help you get a very good rate on jumps in florida. I'll help if I can -
well I hate to put it like this but this IS the reason you need to elect board members that understand what YOU want.
-
have you e mailed anyone at the Uspa? How did they respond. What natioal directors have you contacted, ect?

USPA election candidate opinions
bodypilot90 replied to billvon's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Tom how can you say that? It is a member benefit. So the member can get the rating. If 6 guys can get a plane and want to hold it on a non dropzone grass runway then the uspa should make every effort to do it. However the members can work it. We are the uspa not group members. -

I disagree, we need to see where the candidates stands on expanding the aff program. -
USPA election candidate opinions
bodypilot90 replied to billvon's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Yes I did mean NSL. Yes I believe there are a lot better locations than DC, or as you suggest further out but in the DC location. Perhaps if we no longer reqired uspa membership then the current numbers of members would be reduced and staffing would not be so swamped and the current building would do. Does anyone think it's foolish to increase cost when we are running in the Red? -

I'm not talking about florida, I'm sure everyone wuld like to come south. If they wanted to be helpful how about droping the fee for nonmember dropzones to hold the course. (It's a Im benefit not group member benefit)
