What is a haiku? It is a kind of poem. It came from Japan. I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

Mine was worth 8050 and 84% of people had a purer soul than mine! I must be bad. I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

My longest drive was from Washington DC to Key West only stopping for gas. It took 22 hours and it sucked. I also had no radio in the car for the entire trip there and back (a week later). I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

There is a good article on the Kitty Hawk demo. ON the cover though is an exit pic from the women's HD formation record. Oops, JP beat me to it... You are mentioned in the participants though. I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

I got mine a few days ago. Edited to say: I don't know if it makes a difference but I live near USPA headquarters so I usually get mine about a week before the new month. I don't know if they send them out from there or not though... I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

I that top out speed? Thats probably about what mine is (CBR600) but I wouldn't know, because I've only had it up to 145 and I think I had a couple thousand more rpms to spare... I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

I wouldn't say that. I think Deuce's gets 40.5 if thats an '01 model. I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

I was looking for a thread that had a deleted post in it and recognized some good PWing and thought it was funny... I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

What did you want to be as a kid when you grew up?
wzettler replied to prepheckt's topic in The Bonfire
From the first time I saw one I fell in love with motorcycles. I wanted to be a motorcycle racer. My parents didn't support that idea so then I wanted to be an F-16 fighter pilot, but my eyesight wasn't up to snuff. Next I wanted to be an oncologist or brain surgeon, but the schooling was going to take too long and I didn't want to be in debt for the rest of my life paying off loans... So now i want to be a skydiver that gets to jump for free. Anyone want to pay for my jump tickets? -
The Fierce Snake or Inland Taipan (Oxyuranus microlepidotus). It's the most venemous snake in the world. I also like walking sticks. They are a cool insect. I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

I fold my pilot chute the same no matter what kind of jump I'm doing. (I only have 3 WS jumps and don't have the longer bridle, so my opinion may not be what you are looking for.) I think the important thing when folding a PC is if it can be extracted in any situation. Heres what I mean: Pack up your rig and then pull the pin while the PC is still in the BOC. Can you easily pull the PC out by the bridle? I often see people fold up their PCs in a way that it can't be extracted in reverse and turns into a hard-pull ball in the BOC. What would happen if someone had a pin come out accidentally and had a horseshoe? My PC has a much better chance of clearing (coming out) in this situation, which is why i fold it that way. Everyone folds theirs different though, so to each their own. Thats just what I am comfortable with. My .02...

I definitely do the same thing. I watch sequences over and over in slow motion too of all the videos I have. I also like watching canopies deploy in slow motion and trying to figure out causes of them spinning up or other malfunctions... I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

Thats cool! I have a buddy who used to be on a cutter for the USCG in the Carribean for a few years. I don't think his boat ever got that much. He's a rescue swimmer now though, he was tired of being out to sea for so long with an SO at home... edited for spelling... I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

ProTrack Manual From:http://www.l-and-b.dk/pdf/english_protrack.pdf page 40 Definition True airspeed (TAS) and Skydiver’s airspeed (SAS) are two methods to calculate airspeeds. TAS is a term used in aviation: It is the speed of an object relative to the surrounding air, regardless of the altitude. SAS is a new concept developed by LARSEN & BRUSGAARD: SAS is the speed of a skydiver calculated from measurements of air pressure and temperature and converted to a fixed air pressure (875.3 mb) and a fixed temperature (+7.080C) which corresponds to 4,000 feet ASL. TAS A skydiver’s True airspeed (TAS) relative to the ground changes as a function of the altitude (air pressure) and temperature which makes it difficult to compare fall-rates. Example: A skydiver (in a fixed freefall position) who has a terminal fallrate of 62 meters/sec at 10,000 feet. will have a terminal fallrate of 50 meters/sec at 3,000 feet. It will be seen that the difference in altitude (air pressure) makes it difficult to compare the fall-rates when recorded in TAS. Explanation SAS The SAS formula calculates, using the TAS information, as though the complete skydive had been performed at a fixed air pressure and a fixed temperature which corresponds to 4,000 feet ASL. 4,000 feet is the chosen reference by LARSEN & BRUSGAARD since this is the average altitude at which the working time of a skydive is normally ended. Conclusion Using SAS, skydivers in any body position can express their vertical speed by a number (SAS). This number remains virtually constant regardless of altitude with little or no variance due to temperature differences and can be compared with the airspeeds of other skydivers. This means that regardless of the elevation of the DZ you are jumping at, SKYDIVER’S AIRSPEED (SAS) will be the same for the same body position. -Emphasis mine. Hope that answers your question. I personally use TAS because I like more realistic numbers and I don't really compare my fallrate on my ProTrack to other's ProTracks... I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

I will be looking for the next cult to rise up from that area in 5 years or so.... I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

Hm, Americans aren't well liked by many Arabs...
wzettler replied to vonSanta's topic in The Bonfire
He loves the money he makes here I guess. Maybe I am the ugly American, but the guy lives here, retires at 35 and takes his money back to his country. If he doesn't like us then leave and don't come back. I am not prejudice but go home then. Don't come back. I have traveled the world and if I didn't like the place I was visiting or the people then I just didn't go back (unless the Army made me). I think vonSanta was saying that the guy gets his money from Denmark, not the US... I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them. -
Ha! Yeah I guess it is kinda small. Im sure it certainly doesn't get up to freefly speeds anyway... I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

People that camp out in the left lane on the highway. I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

I had a tricycle as my first vehicle (hand-me-down from my sister) my first motorized vehicle was a 1991 CBR600F2 (which is a motorcycle for those of you who don't know). Yeah, I know, stupid to buy a bike before a car and I paid for it that first winter, but I needed some speed on the roads... I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

Maybe rehmwa can answer the question. Check his sig line. I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.
