Agreed, he is obviously very excited about the sport. but bitching about not getting to jump because he didnt get there early enough to get in on a load before the staff and upjumpers were tired/done was in poor taste. open at 1800 is great but I'm sure you were set up for a sub 15sec 4stack build. *** granted we were closer than normal, but as I recall no one was dangerously close, having a good canopy at 1800' means that we all pulled above the USPA D license minimum altitude. I was with 3 experienced skydivers that I know and trust, I knew everyone would do their best to get away.
