That was wierd. The recruiting agency sends me out to a company. I talked with them and they said that the hiring manager had read my resume and was eager to speak with me. When I get there the hiring manager says that he had never received my resume and that the appointment had never been confirmed. Didn't want to talk with me but gave me his card and told me to send him my resume, then out the door. This recruiter has been reliable up to now. I wonder what really went on. Anyway, Roy, Lany, looks like I'm still available to teach the FJC during the week!

I can do ground school anytime, day or night. Probably have to do the levels at Lodi, somehow I just don't see it happening at our DZ BTW: Off to another interview this morning, why did they schedule this at 8am . wish me luck guys!

I'm not an ass, I'm an ASSHOLE. For several years I was a professional Jazz musician. Some of the guitarists that I worked with couldn't sight read very well, but they could all read. The lack of reading ability was usually more of an issue in a stage band setting and recording sessions.

It's a little easier to learn music theory on a piano, but it's do-able on a guitar. Learning to read music (real notation, not tablature) will greatly accelerate your ability to learn guitar. Be sure to ask your instructor to teach you to read.

The hardest part of being unemployed, for me at least, is not the lack of income but rather the lack of human interaction on a day to day basis. So you see, it's not really desperation but rather boredom. As I progress in THE SPORT, I find I have less and less in common with wuffos which makes it hard to relate to people that won't jump out of a perfectly good airplane. Add that to the fact that I don't have any surviving family and , well fuck it, I guess that I am lonely and desperate . Take pity on me for I am an addict . what are you guys donig for Christmas? I figured I'd go to Lodi and hang with the rest of the lost children
