    Mad John broke his wrist snowboarding and was jumping with a cast for at least a month. He really wacked me with it on a horney gorilla. I won't do that anymore if anyone has a cast on

    My two-out was pretty scary for a second. Also the time that someone carved in their track and dumped right below me was interesting.

    I had a similar landing career until I downsized to a canopy that I was loading a little more. Then my landing skills improved a lot.

    Since you will be doing a recurrency jump the AFFI or Coach you will be jumping with should be able to get you oriented to the new DZ. Ask them about the local procedures for loading the plane, jump run, spotting, exit seperation, the canopy traffic pattern and landing area, outs, how manifest works, where to buy beer, etc. You might also ask them if there is an orginizer that takes on low timers. Don't get in over your head!

    I really liked the soft handles with the barrel inside. Nice positive feel, esp. with gloves and they stick out nicely. Nice touch in the main pack tray to prevent lines from snagging the reserve container.
