Even the "one jump wonder's" are potential skydivers. One of my friends SO has only made 1 tandem (so far) and posts on here. We are working on getting her to finish the FJC and do AFF. I don't have any problem with her or anyone else that wants to learn more about "THE SPORT". Bring it on!

I agree, although I have used this procedure a lot while I was on my first (no flare) canopy. Used it a lot in fact :-\

A VERY experianced camera flyer I know said that he now prefered the "Third base slide" as an alternative landing style. Of course to do this safely you MUST have eliminated your vertical speed component or you risk serious injury.

I've been interviewing for the last two or three months. It's normal to get nervous. Just try to be yourself in the interview, they'll find oout sooner or later anyway

the effect a few hasty words would have. I am writing this because I unitentionally hurt alot of feelings with an insensitive remark I made about a young jumper's untimely death. As chopchop stated, sometimes my mouth runs before my brain is fully engaged and it is not unlike me to appear insensitive. I really have a huge and caring heart which doesn't always show throgh my gruff exterior. To those I offended or caused pain, please accept my sincerest apologies.. I will try to keep my editing department from getting lazy when i am posting on these kinds of topics in the future.
